Pretty much why I have faith that this team next season with 2 new starting guards will be a playoff team. Porzingis should be a year older, stronger and hopefully better. Melo/Lopez likely the same. If we can keep DWill, that gives us 4 tough front court players to match up with.

On the guard front, I really hope Phil gets 2 new starters. Jose/Afflalo proved this year they can not get the team to a good enough level. I think on most good teams, these guys are backups.

It's also why I hope Rambis makes a starter change. Let Grant/Galloway/Fredette even get more play time with the starters. Enough about the playoffs nonsense. Afflalo guaranteed it a while back and we've seen what has happened. Rambis can talk about all he wants, it won't happen. Lets at least get reps in with the younger guards and the starting front court that is likely coming back next season.
