Its the "Cult of Jimmer" stuff that drives some crazy, and I'll bet it drives some of the players and coaches crazy, too.

Jimmer is 26, and has been tossed from team to team since he was drafted much higher than his talent warranted, yet some around here continue him as some kind of savior.

I'm hoping that he shows us something which earns him some playing time, but some folks have to temper their enthusiasm about what he can do for a team.

It's not that Jimmer is the team's savior, nobody is even coming close to saying that.

It's that Jose is that freaking bad....

Kyle Lowry literally did Ice Cube's line in his classic single "Today was a good day". Like Lowry just literally phucked around and got a triple double almost effortlessly. Kyle Lowry is an all star, yes, but forget Kyle torching you individually....to not even box out for boards or just be a revolving turnstile for that many dishes to his teammates.

I mean there's no coming back from that. I'd rather Lowry just torch Hose-A for 30 and the Knicks shut everyone else down, but alas this is the hand we're dealt...

Jimmer just wants to make the team I think. AND...There are a lot of different people who like Jimmer, probably based on how friggin awesome he was in College. It isn't a cult. I'd like him on our team especially if we get a great starting unit. I'd be happy with 6 points a game and an occasional burst of Jimmer.

Mark Madsen sucked an he stuck around for years. Sometimes you just need good bench guys.

Is what it is. A long shot at best. Worth and has earned a shot. Unfortunately, has not had a good history in the past. Lets hope the Knicks logo creates something in him to succeed.

Ummmmm...that backup PG is a big part of their team. Jimmer hasn't played Nba competition pretty much in a year.

He drove right past and between our defense for a layup to end a quarter and had 14...He also, had a big 3 against Memphis.

And a nice game against a guy some of us wanted

Jimmer's defense isn't good, but that is a tough match up first thing. My god I'm going to need Jimmer deprogramming if he doesn't get cut soon

Lol and Jose wouldn't give up lay ups all day like he dose everyday... Please Jose is the worst defender in the league... I'd take jimmer all day long over Jose . At least jimmer can get to the paint and hit contested jumpers

My argument against Jimmer would be that NO d-league guys have done anything substantial this year at all...correct? It is a down year for the league it seems.
