This is true. But Melo isn't getting any younger. The jumper seems connected to his knee troubles - can't expect it's gonna make a major comeback at age 32 and beyond.
It takes time after surgery. DWade had his issues at first too. Now he's doing better.

He's -18 in 11min
Gallo playing great D and has hops? Did anyone else know that Gallo had hops? Amazing we're only down 5 shooting like crap. We're in good shape.

Unless what the doctor says is true which is that the knee would bother him in the first year after the surgery and hopefully it will be much better next year after a off season of rest.
Hey at least they're battling now after a poor start. Miami isn't that great. Knicks have to dig deep and get this game.

Wade shot 55% two years ago. He's at 45% now. He's a completely different player.
Melo playing for himself.
Glad Rambis yelled at him in the end. Definitely told him to take a look at open teammates. Melo just looked back at him, despondent face. Sums up Melo's play since trade deadline. He's already checked out for the season, knowing playoffs aren't happening.
crzymdups wrote:Hopefully LT has found his outside game. We missed him a lot - feels like he's been off since he hurt his knee.
It seemed like the whole damn bench stopped playing well at the same time which was when LT and Melo got hurt. Without our bench playing well we really stink.

DWade had similar issues after his surgery. It takes time.

miami is pretty good especially on defense

Sometimes +/- doesn't translate well. This is one of those halves. KP was playing while the other players were dogging it. They did not get him the ball. He was dominating the paint with blocks

Oh goodness.......come on now with this ridiculous stuff.

Stop that .. i rather read about the team as one .. Melo hold the ball on every offensive play he suppose to lead the team in scoring n assist .. Wade still got the talent n leadership to take the Heat to the playoff
Lance Thomas is hungry feed him .. Gallo showing winning effort now feed him too

He's also been even harder on his body. Used to be no one thought DWade would play long Cuz of how hard he played. We'll see how things go for MELO if he's here next year.
All in all considering the start and poor shooting, we're very good spot being down 5. If we (especially Kristaps) pick it up with the outside shot in the 2nd, can make this is a real tough one that goes down the wire.
Really can't say enough about how much I dislike that we have a franchise player in the Jordan/Kobe role who shoots the ball so inconsistently. Until that is addressed, we just won't become a good playoff team.
Strong finish. Just as good as the 2 KP blocks was his making a beeline for the paint and calling for the ball afterward. Suggested playing Grant at SG, a while back. Like Jose and Grant on the floor at the same time. Also gives Jerian some on the court tutoring from Calderon. Would be an interesting starting lineup. AA could be more instant offense off the bench for which he is better suited.
NYKBocker wrote:Why is KP out?
Rambis has to develop a veteran lineup that know how to come from behind by 10 points
