I mustve missed all of the championships Carmelo won in the NBA.
I have zero sympathy for heckling fans when players talk back to them
If Melo leaves, it will take some time to attract another star to NY via free agency. That's just the way it works. No one will want to come into NY and "replace" him. If we work with Melo to deal him to a contender, we will either need to receive that star back, or rebuild through the draft. Once we establish a core through the draft, and Melo's departure becomes a more distant memory, then we will have a chance to attract top tier free agents again. But our ability to attract top FA talent is tied to Melo staying or leaving.
Of course. KP has no appeal now.
Despite being a unicorn.
Melo has never had any appeal.
No matter what other top tier players have stated about him in the past.
Melo has to go.
the playoffs didn't count.
anything he's accomplished or done here doesn't count.
first scoring doesn't count.
then rebounding doesn't count.
now assists don't count.
Improving defensive play doesn't count.
first he's only a one half of the court player.
Now he just needs to be off both ends of the court.
Lin's magic 15 minutes, that counts.
Jimmy being Jimmer, that counts.
Stat's mental meanderings, that counts.
Only Melo hate counts.
Because constantly whining about trading your best player
is what true BBIQ is all about.

Knicks are NY team, Melo is just came over to get paid.

What are you guys smoking? Players already don't want to come here even before Melo. We have been settling for second tier players. Melo came here because of Amare but who is coming here because of Melo? Players don't want to play with Melo because they know winning a championship is not an option with Melo. The team is deteriorating because Melo is deteriorating right before our very eyes. Who is going to want to come here to play with a deteriorating good player.

KD and westbrook will break the fckng bnk in the next yr or 2, curry and klay will make melos pay check look like the veterans min

I never understood the need to be blind to situations. Melo is deteriorating he may be leading in Rebounding, and assists but his shooting is down you take enogh shots at a very poor percentage the scoring will look good. But this is not Melo's fault the talent is very weak on this team. It would be in his best interest to go else where. Allow tne Knicks a rebuild with assests already know other star players are not interested in NY or Melo. The stars will have to come from the draft.

He had last summer. Prior to that the Knicks were working with the mid level and vet mini deals. He tried with Aldridge and reportedly was surprised when the team told Aldridge they would play him exclusively at center. I know Kidd wanted to play with Melo.

He's not deteriorating at all, but people treat 31 like it's 40 here, and look for excuses to knock him when they can't find one.
