Knicks · Melo & Heckling Fan: "Apologizing was James Dolan's Idea." (page 1)

Hey Guys! Long time reader of this forum, first-time poster....

My name is Steve and I've been a Knicks fan my whole life. Good and bad, always weathered the storm that is the Knicks.

Always been a Melo fan as well. But publicly coming back on an apology to a fan? C'mon. Last person who should get credit for the apology is Dolan, who to my knowledge, still hasn't apologized for calling a fan an alcoholic last season. What was the point of shying away from an apology? Pride?

Point of the post... What is going on???? What is going on with Melo? Frustration is definitely boiling over and it may be time for a mutual separation.

A bit surprising as Dolan usually makes good decisions! Can we deport him?

Hey Steve, welcome!

I totally forgot that whole "Go root for the Nets" thing! That makes this whole thing even more funny to me.

Pride? Sure. If Dolan can call an alcoholic, what really is so bad w what Melo said? Other than saving face with ticket holders via PR. I figure he's just tired of "different shit, same day" dealing with whatever new backpage bullshit after every loss.

What? No one needs to apologize for anything.

This is another treat for Knicks soup opera 2016...
I was thinking new leadership will keep team under the radar... but this is not some Utah or freaking San Antonio.
This is New York, the Media Capital of the World!!!
