Ummmmmm he'll slam the ball.......and that's about it. Same as he always has done.

Yeah with better guards DWILL could do much more. Also they could just use him better IMO. They don't run enough for him.

Why blame Phil? You seem to have a problem differentiating Poor Execution from what System is being run. You act like Phil's teams have sucked offensively running this offense.
this is phils team and phils coach that he put together with his gut.
What I mean is that the way they were playing isn't what Phil wants. Don't confuse the 2 things. When the team is executing isn't that more indicative of what he wants?
It's soooooo nice when Grant does good things.
Gallo n Grant with a couple of good baskets.

Alan Hahn brought that up in the Knicks post game show after last nights game that the players aren't playing the way they're being asked to play. Rambis said it after the game last night.

I am sure that phil wants them to play better but he should have thought about that before he used his gut to build this woefully sh1tty team.
Now this has been a fun quarter to watch.

We are dead last in fastbreak offense, or near the bottom, so its hard to make the most of his skills this season. Hope a better backcourt will change that.

who's fault is that?
You don't know who's fault it is if the players aren't playing the way they're asked to play??
In the last couple of minutes we have seen Grant: 1) stop Collison cold on trying to penetrate that Breen even pointed it out 2) Have an awesome block on the fast break on a layup 3) drive to the basket and finish and 3) hit a 3 from the corner--all playing with the 1st unit for the 1st time 4) pushing the pace and getting out in transition
Stopping penetration, penetrating and finishing at the rim and pushing the pace has been something our guards haven't been able to do all year. Why it took so long for him to be playing more is beyond me.

that excuse don't work. In the end its the (telecommuting) leader who is responsible for that.

It's a process. He did what he could last summer while leaving options open for this summer. This is not what was hoped for but also not the end of the world either. They have to keep working on this roster this summer.
Grant having a great run.
