KP gave us another performance. What did we see? A victory.

I look at KP at a big part of the solution of righting the ship. He's performing admirably as a 20 year old amongst this shyt storm of a season. Ups and downs as a rookie, but ultimately he'll be alright long term because he has the IT factor.
Now if you think Rambis is the guy to help navigate the Knicks ship through this rocky storm for the next few years, well I have some magic beans to sell you that might grow a giant bean stalk that'll grow all the way to the sky!

Do you even realize what going "Full Rebuild" actually means? It's not like that works every single time a team does it. In fact MOST of the time it fails miserably. Most of the time it takes MANY years to build a team from scratch and become a winning team. There's just no evidence that this is some tried and true method as some make it out to be. I'm not saying it should never be done. Just that it's often a very long and unsure road.
The thing that makes our road seem more palatable is that we got KP and he looks like he can be a franchise player. So that's one piece to the puzzle in a full rebuild. But who is going to be the Robin to KP's Batman in a full rebuild? We hope one of our other young prospects can develop into that, but so far that's not the case. Tho Really that's no reason to go completely without vets. This process wouldn't seem so bad had Jerian and Gallo had good seasons for this team. We needed them to take more control from Jose and Sasha. The better our young players perform the more this takes on a very positive direction. We've got a new crop of young guys coming in next year too. So the team is getting younger regardless.

Yes, that's why I'm pushing full rebuild. We got gifted by the Basketball Gods with KP, so we need some running mates around his age to coincide with his prime. KP will do the heavy lifting for the franchise, we just need to fill in the blanks around him.
We're not starting from ground zero if we rebuild. Unlike the Sixers who still don't have a franchise talent, we need guys that will play with KP for at least the next 5 years plus and not just stop gaps. You better your chances at studs or at least really good role players by tanking this up coming season for the 2017 lottery or if we can get into the 2016 draft somehow.

This is a bad idea, at least in the next couple years. Forcing him into that role instead of let him develop into it naturally. Luckily Phil understands this.
