He was back from his injury around the celts game. After he rolled his ankle on the ref and came back and played 49 and 42 minutes and reinsured his knee his shot was gone again.

Yeah. Obviously you need talent regardless of any system you're playing for it to work, but they have bought into the system the last couple games. Their execution in the halfcourt set running the triangle has been spot on. They're playing with control and poise like they know what they're doing and reacting to the defense well taking what it gives them. There's no hesitancy or confusion--especially from the starting unit. Playing really cohesive. The 3 point shooting definitely helps too, but the shots are coming from good passing. KP getting his legs and finding his shot again certainly helps, too. They do need him as a solid 2nd option. Give Rambis credit, though. I never saw this type of triangle execution under Fish--just chaos.

We just beat a team who is battling for a playoff spot on back to back nights; that is a huge accomplishment for this team--shows progress.

Yes he is. He's always had a good shot and that's been missing since he stepped on the refs foot but his shot looks so much better these last few games.

If Knicks finish strong like this and end up with 34-35 wins that's a real compelling argument to bring Rambo back. Remember, if you bring in a new coach, it's like starting all over again. If they are learning, progressing and improving, why change things? Not that I'm a huge Rambo fan but I like what I see the last two games. We just need a pg.

The point is simple... You need talent to win and the system is not nearly as important as the talent. When our players perform better it suddenly shows what is possible in this system. That's why I have argued against abandoning the system. Much better to stay with it and continue to develop our players and add talent!!!

Yeah if the team understands the system and knows what to do, it can work, but the team needs to get to the point where it's instinctive and reactionary to the defense. I've seen that the last two games. I haven't seen that at all under Fish. They were just mechanical and hesitant. Now they're just taking their time, surveying the defense and just reacting. That's how you play the triangle. We just need to start running a little bit more.
