My Syracuse Orange deserve their own thread for making the final 4 after almost not even being put in the tournament.

That was a fantastic game. Really psyched because my son and I are going to be staying with my dad when the next game is on. When the tournament started I just wanted them to win a game or two.

Yeah that's all i was hoping for cause nobody ever thought this would happen. They got lucky that M.Tennessee took out Mich St but i'll take it. I'm hoping N.Dame can knock off NC in this game that's on now cause NC is a beast this year. Not that N.Dame would be much easier to play.

I had Mich St against Cal with Mich St winning it all. I thought Cal was gonna be the sleeper team to knock off Kansas.

Happy for Cuse. Not an avid fan but I always pull for them. This is a shocker. I had them bowing out early in the 2nd rd and now they just defeated #1 seed Virginia to make the Final Four. I can see why the town of Syracuse is going bunkers. Unreal!

Well of course i do love Melo but i've said on here that i would be good either way with if we traded him or keep building with him cause i'm a Knicks fan before i'm a Melo fan so i'll always want what's best for my team. I do think we can build with Melo as long as we get two new guards with at least one of them being a stud. Like if we could get a M.Conley or a D.Derozan and pair either one with a guard opposite of them i think we could be a legit team. Our front court is set with Melo, KP and Rolo so all we need is two new guards and we can be a legit team with Melo. I'd also be alright with trading Melo as long as we get the right return for him which for me needs to be a player and draft picks.
I give Melo a hellz of a lot more credit than a lot of the people on here do for having so much love for being a New Yorker, for wanting to play in New York for the New York Knicks even with all the bad we've been through since he's been here. He wants this to work in New York and hasn't jumped ship when he's had plenty of chances to jump ship and i think he deserves respect for that. We've never given him that star player to play with since he's been here but he's stuck in it with us hoping every off season he'd get the help he wants/needs.
Melo said winning one championship in New York would be better than winning multiple championships for anyone else......RESPECT.

Great run. Does Cooney get drafted? He is a lot better than Rautins. Gbinige can't have helped his draft status with his last two games. Would love for the Knicks to get one of these guys.

Cooney won't get drafted and Gbinige could get drafted in the 2nd round but it wouldn't surprise me if he went undrafted. The good thing about this Cuse team is first of all at the beginning of the year pretty much everyone knew we weren't gonna be a very good team cause we didn't have the talent so this run was great and 2nd of all we have some really good players that this was just their freshman years in M.Richardson, T.Lydon and F.Howard so we should be good next year.
