Who is starting? Hope it's Jerian Grant and D-Will. Two guys I want to see back next year, and part of our top 9 players/rotation. Both need to work on their decision making with the ball and to rely less on trying to drive by defenders, holding on the ball too long and instead to be willing and comfortable spotting up. They do that and they'll be complete players who can be relied on for minutes on a good team.

Calderon is on crutches and is out for the foreseeable future; Grant starting tonight. KP day to day and D Will starting for him. I'm actually excited to watch this game to see how Grant does playing starter minutes with the 1st unit. Should have happened weeks ago.

Also, Early got called up today and is unavailable. With KP out, I hope he gets some minutes tonight, too, to see how far he's come back since the incident.

I think it's good it happened this way - not that I wanted Jose to get hurt. Jose is better than Grant right now. It's the wrong message to a young player that you can shoot poorly, not make good decisions with the ball and you are rewarded with a starter job over a better veteran. This way he has an opportunity to shine bright and I hope he does it, but it wasn't handed to him unearned. Hate giving young players minutes and jobs as starters when they didn't earn them.

D-Will and Grant are 2 guys I am hoping will be back next year and in the rotation, being able to rely more on them than we did this past season. I think Lance Thomas leaves in free agency, leaving us more reliant on D-Will. Also see Porzingis playing more 5 next year, again leaving us with more minutes open for D-Will. He and Jerian have a great shot next season to get a bigger role if they work hard in the offseason on their spot up and pull up jumper.

So how badly does Robin Lopez get pwned by his brother tonight?

None of it matters without a coach and a system that fits the player. It's ok to watch as a die hard, but a meaningless game has no merit.

I wish the opportunity happen while we were fighting for 8th spot.

Even tho he got stripped on his drive I want to see more penetration by Jerian coming around screens.

If DWILL comes back I want to see them feature him WAY more. He should be a primary scorer off the bench.

Yeah and it would be nice if he can get them to go into the basket to and not revert back to how bad he was at finishing earlier in the year or actually most of the year until Cleamons started working with him.

Nice to see Early be the 1st man off bench and see some minutes...

One thing was sure when Grant was PG they went into post drops and post isocentric play less vs Galloway at PG. That's why I really want another playmaking guard with the starters, to make those decisions. When you have court vision, a confidence to create plays, you won't always make the obvious yet predictable move to force feed the post in the Triangle, instead look to get some motion going first.

Early looks D-League. So does Galloway. Neither should be back next year unless they play fantastic in summer league and then training camp.

Cle looks like he found a nice stroke. His shot looks really good and smooth.

As I say that about Early, he starts to show some promise with a few jumpers. Like that.
