If you look at his play, he is passing the ball A LOT.........If he wanted to leave, he'd sit.....

Melo should get a say in the coaching decision. Most good organizations are on the same page and communicate. This is not rocket science.

Also, that was the Chris Smith year. Grunwald was fired, Woodson had no say in who made the team, JR was ridiculous and management allowed it, Woodson couldn't keep a big on the roster as the 15th man, he was forced to play KMart and Amare every other game for 10 minutes, Shump was screaming at Woodson in games, Tyson was trying to get Woodson fired, management would not trade for Kyle Lowry etc. all of the high character vets were gone and Tyson showed he wasn't the locker room guy he had been portrayed to be.

Just like it wasn't a surprise last year when he wanted someone other than Porzingis drafted. He would love nothing more than to win 45-50 games on teams well over the cap with veteran players on max deals in decline. So is Rambis is a long term move? It sounds like most of the team is not buying into Rambis at this point, especially the vets. Asking for there to be a process where other guys are interviewed to be the coach was what was first reported. Saying he would love to have some input is a nice way of saying no to Kurt without saying it in my opinion. I think there are better coaches out there than Rambis. I don't think the guys on the team like Rambis as the head coach. Rambis isn't winning but Phil still would like to put him in place as the head according to some reports. I think this is being proactive. I think Phil signs who he wants in free agency. I think he should take a look at other candidates for the coaching position.
