The Daily News has a new roster poll

http://interactive.nydailynews.com/2016/...

I took the initiative and just filled it out for the majority of you here

LOL, who are the retards that voted to dump Porzingis!
Cartman718 @ 4/12/2016 4:03 PM
93% want Rambis gone...that has to be some kind of record...even for an interim coach
crzymdups @ 4/12/2016 4:08 PM
Love the inclusion of Phil and Dolan at the bottom. Didn't see that coming!

Kinda pissed off that so many people want to dump Sasha!

Fans want their favorite talking head to coach. Same fans secretly hope that coach causes a riff with management so they will fire Phil. Basically the same drama that's been happening the last 20 years. That's one of the non basketball related trains I want Rambis to stay

Sasha brings it every night regardless if his shot is falling or not. We need him to push the guys in practice. If you can't out work Sasha, you don't play. Just ask Affalo

CrushAlot @ 4/12/2016 4:27 PM
Rambis is loathed more than Dolan.

I'm fairly even keeled when it comes to the teams I root for. However in this case my gut feeling that Rambis is a train wreck.

Yeah Sasha has absolutely won me over and as long as we're gonna be running the triangle i want him to be a Knick. I definitely differ on keeping Gallo cause he can go for all i care. I definitely want L.Thomas back for sure and with DWill it depends on how much of a pay raise he wants, i don't mind giving him more years but i don't wanna pay him much more if any more than the $5 mil per he made this year.

Gut feelings aside nobody can explain why they don't like Rambis other than bringing up Minnesota. He's coached this team fine and reorganized everything after Fisher got fired.

I want him to be fired cause he didn't get back up and strangle McHale (or even smack away Bird's hand) after nearly getting decapitated in 1984. We don't need that kind of soft wussy behavior leading our team

DWill is going to get a raise. There's more money and he's coming into himself as a player. If Shumpert got 10 mil a year, DWill deserves more than what he's signed for. Sasha is a keeper. He brings a lot to the table.

That was awesome lol. Gotta give Rambis did try to get McHale but his boy bopped him outta bounds.
Rambis used to run that floor though. He did alot of dirty work. When you think of that he actually is a great example to have as a coach. He used to bring it so he's got no sympathy for players that don't

why did worthy do that?

BRIGGS @ 4/12/2016 8:50 PM
Whatever excuse we want to use this team is 32-50. Resting on our laurels and sitting somewhat pat will bring similar results

We were a 17 win team last year.... I don't think a 15 win improvement is resting on our laurels.... next year we make the playoff push

I'd keep Lopez, Porzingis, Melo, Grant, Wroten and Calderon.
Everyone else I'd let go, or be willing to move in a trade. I wouldn't overpay to keep anyone. 2017 capspace should be a priority. If D-Will and Afflalo opt out as anticipated, Knicks have 30$M in space. They can go after DeRozan, Durant or Lebron. All 3 will likely not leave their teams for a 32 win Knicks team, but it will allow the Knicks a chance to make a huge move. Outside that, I'd look to spend 10-15$ M of space longterm on guards that can fit in what we want to do and need. No more than that. You want to preserve the space for 2017 when you have free agent guards like Curry, Westbrook, Hayward, Paul.

Yes some may ask why the heck Jose? Well he makes 7$M a year. As a backup point guard which should be his role next year, he will show more value than he did this year. He knows the system, he knows how to shoot and pass. He's a good lockerroom guy. Jose's probably our best passer from the guard spot, still. So you don't just dump the guy because he's not good enough to compete with the best starters. His contract fits in perfectly with keeping 2017 capspace.

Coaching, I'm hopeful Jackson will choose the best man that fits, and I don't want him to bring in someone like Mark Jackson or Blatt if they won't work well together. You bring in the coach you trust and will work well together. I hope he can see beyond Rambis, but lets see. I'm willing to give Phil 1 more season to get this right.

people may have factored in you can't dump the owner.

I think most semi knowledgeable fans would trade Dolan for any other owner - trying to think of one worse that Dolan- maybe the Russian in Brooklyn is worse- but I think he has figured out you can buy an insta win franchise.
