I agree to some extent, but one has to also consider GSW is even better than last year.
But, GSW is killing them!!!
Cavs defense is not existent and Lebron is losing trust in his mates. Rightly so, they are not hitting their shots.
Wow....no production from JR or Shump at all. Cleveland is getting 6 pts a game from the 2 position over the full 48 minutes?
I think Lue has to undue his changes he did in mid-season to stand a chance (or just win a game or 2).
Go back to a traditional lineup and don't try to beat GS at their own game. RELEASE THE MOZ!

Finals are more tense and when JR is not "feeling it", which is under pressure he is less effective. He has to play a sort of "Free" type game and he gets going. Fear or mistakes seems to inhibit him.
At least he is not in "self sabotage" mode.
translation: he is the quintessential jayvee player.
I highly doubt that Cavs would get out of the second round in the West. They are probably the 4-5 best team in the West. If Phil can make some good moves I can see the Knicks being a top team in the East it's really a shitty conference.
i'll admit how wrong i was. A week+ back when GSW were struggling mightily, and Cavs were rolling, I was thinking this was the Cavs year.
Now, i'm like, what the heck was I thinking. Yesterday's game was crazy. GSW were crushing Cav's will to live
Wow. I thought Blatt did a brilliant job last year . . . the Cavs could have used him this week. This year's Cavs makes last year's team look like GS :)
LBJ has lost his confidence to shoot mid-range and threes.
I still can't believe OKC has lost the series............
Saw another debate online saying the difference between Lebron and Michael is that Lebron does not have a goto move. Right now Lebron's goto move is bull rushes to the basket.

LeBron cant create separation the way Jordan could. He couldnt find an open spot on the floor and shoot some crazy shot off the dribble like Jordan could. Mostly north and south. They're also different body types. Lebron's frame wont let him get low to the ground like Jordan could, and stop on a dime and either pass or shoot. Not something you can really teach LeBron. Jordan wasn't the playmaker that Lebron is however.
NBA Refs want to end the Last Two Minute reporting... haha, guess they were getting tired of being called out.

I agree. I am not quite sure what his go to move should me. Jordan had a fade away from the elbow. If you put Lebron on the low block every team in the league would thank you. The real problem in this series is supporting cast not giving anything while Curry's supporting cast is doing most of the work.
Lebron is not Jordan.
Jordan had plenty of bad games. Some he was able to finish in spectacular fashion.
Lebron can take you to the finals. My god, isn't there a cred for that alone?
Nobody is Jordan. Nobody went 6-0.
So everyone else not named Jordan is a loser.

Nobody had Jordan's team either. Jordan almost lost to the sorry knicks if not for sorry Charles Smith. Jordan was pushed to the brink even with his star studded cast. That star studded cast, without Jordan, should have / could have won it all if not for a terrible call by Hugh Hollins.
Lebron had super friends in Miami but nowhere near the Bulls roster.
Hard to compare without giving Lebron Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and Phil Jackson. Not Tyrone Lue, Kevin Love, JR Smith and Tristen Thompson.
The fact that he can get to the finals every year regardless of his cast is incredible. Who else has ever done this?

Because the east is so weak I think LeBron's finals appearances are a bit tainted. He is the only true star in the east. He created a super team in Miami which has tainted written all over it. He got himself back to the Cavs after the are rewarded 3 number one draft picks more taint. The man has done nothing the legit way since his first appearance.
Kevin Love won't play. I think this improves the Cav's chances of winning.

how does that improve their chances????

Jordan flopped?
Jordan quit in a playoff series? ANY PLAYOFF SERIES?
Russell went undefeated in any playoff series that went to 7 games. Lebron can't even manage to get to that point.
LeQ is a unique, insane talent, but he's not going to be setting any playoff records with that jumper, and the constant relying on others in crunch time, during the worst possible moments, keeps him one plateau beneath the Jordans and Russells.
Those two didn't need some dorky writers or fanboys to tell them when they needed to take over.

that is the one serious knock on Lebron. He needs to know when to put on the cape and not keep giving up the ball.

They'll be able to put a better defensive lineup on the floor. Love wasn't making shots and was playing some terrible D.
I think they'll trade him this summer.
