They made them work last nite off the ball.
and Jefferson's defense as well. It allowed LeBron to play Green without any repercussions.
They could have done that regardless its not like Jefferson shut Barnes down or had a big offensive game. It's really more perception over reality, imo.

Fair enough about the D, Jefferson did look like he was a better fit chemistry wise.
That ball was out off of Iggy. The shot showing the ref watch it go out was pretty damning.
GS 81 Cavs 81
This is a must win game for the Cavs
The Cavs aren't getting any calls and I hate the cavs.

I think it has been poorly officiated both ways
Looks like it going to be either Love or LeBron who leaves. Part of it is chemistry, the other part of it is cap space, upgrading wont be cheap. JR didn't do himself any favors, and neither did Shumpert.
The sad thing about Shump, watching him fly around the court, is he has the athletic ability to harass Steph Curry, even shut him down for a stretch, but he still doesn't know how to put it all together. I hear about him training in the offseason, but I still don't see it on the floor. Shumpert could have been a Sprewell type of player, manic on offense and defense, someone who just wears other teams out.
I know LeBron didn't get some calls he should have, but I was surprised by how many times he got stuffed at the rim, not the first game. They waited until he picked up his dribble and went for the ball while it was still in his hands.
My guess is if LeBron Leaves its either NY or Miami. The only way I believe that he doesn't go back to Miami is if he is concerned about the health of Wade for the next few season, coming back too late. Wade had a good year as far as his health, but that cant last forever. Melo probably has more in the tank, and there is KP. Still believe it will be Miami if anywhere, but I wouldnt be surprised to see NY floated by Lebron's people through back channels.

You would love Iggy if he were a Knick. Iguodala is in a contract year next season. Iggy/ DWill(?)/ Grant/Wroten, and KP at times, would be a PDQ lineup. Would be concerned about his age however, and Iguodala probably looking for his last big deal.
Green is suspended for one game.
Will Cav have any chance to bounce back? Probably one game or two?

It seems a bit weak to suspend him for that play. Maybe it was a cumulative thing. It also gives the appearance that the nba wants this to go 6 games.

Wow. I can't believe he got a game for that. Looked to me like LeBron was the aggressor, knocked him down, then took his time stepping over him/on him..I dunno... Dray's been a little chippy himself but I think his response to what happened was justifiable, no? I wonder how they look to replace him in the lineup. You know who's looked good for them--Harrison Barnes.

Weaker that Green has gotten away with as much as he has. Better late than never, would have looked worse for him to go the entire playoffs without a suspension.
I think the language as "Commulative".
Justifiable in my book. Draymond needs to tone it all down. Let the talent speak for itself.
I thought his flail on Adam's was the last straw. I don't think he intended to get his groin, but he intended to kick him or attract a foul on that play.

And Gsw may not want to win the champ on road so the underlying statment is the nba wants this go to 7.
Green being suspended is a joke. This is the only way the NBA can get seven games. Let's dwindle GSW talent so Cavs can get a game. Cheap NBA tactic, I thought LeBron was the instigator he stepped over the man a total sign of disrespect.
No matter GSW will still close it out.

Not excusing Lebron, but we've seen players step over other players before (See Iverson stepping over Lue). Is it unnecessary? Yes. But does it warrant a hit to the balls? Hell no! When are we going to address Greens fetish for hitting dudes in the balls!?

Our Charles Oakley did a lot those "unnecessary" stuff before. Appreciated that.
