So, should Curry get suspended? At first I assumed it was just an accident, but if you look at the vid, you can see the fan clearly taunting him, Curry looking straight at him and throwing his mouth piece at his face.

https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/44227C1...

If he was suspended and the cavs won, we'd have to put up with the warriors whining about how they were robbed all next year. However ever since we lost that Miami series due to the mass suspensions, I can be spiteful on these suspension issues!

Nalod @ 6/17/2016 6:57 AM
Curry hit that guy with a great shot!!!!
I hope they don't suspend him.
Seems like the pressure is getting to the "Golden Child" a bit.
His wife is a bit out of line and is going full blown diva. After all, if they lose this series I would imagine this hurts "Her" plans.
After two years of complete adulation over her she might have a bit elevated opinion about things. As for keeping them on the bus, that just might have been for their protection. Not to say the Cav's organization is fully a first organization, cuz they are not.
Loser mentality is when something cannot be explained, label it a conspiracy.

I have seen Phil Jackson whine and win championships after championship and so on.

I've seen it, too. It does work.

But I think Draymond's history of going for guys' nuts is what did him in. They gave him the benefit of the doubt when he kicked Steven Adams in the nuts. When he took a swipe at Bron's nuts he got a flagrant. He's a dirty player with a history of dirty plays he tries to act like are accidents. He stepped on Mike Conley's face last year in the playoffs, when he already had an injury there. He's a dirty player and got a flagrant for a dirty, cheap shot. He got the flagrant because he has a history of this stuff. And he wouldn't have been suspended if he didn't have other flagrant fouls in the playoffs.

I get that but that was not a flagrant foul on LeBron. Hell even JVG and a Steven A Smith who I don't care much for said that was totally BS what the NBA. Steven A Smith even went as far as saying the are trying to stretch the series.

Then I'm listening to the radio ESPN and one of the show host is saying that he know the NBA is stretching this out and the Owners are in cahoots with it.

I love basketball but the NBA has ruined this for me. I respect everyone opinion and their view point may differ from mine. Call me conspiracy theorist and whatever but for many to many scenario are there that says this is farce.

From the Knicks suspensions vs Miami which left me honestly numb with the way the league gave out suspensions. Any different combination of suspensions and the Knocks close out Miami at home. But the y pushed the series for max revs.

Two straight series at the highest profile level of the sport, Draymond Green swiped at a opposing players' nuts. The NBA was protecting the integrity of the product on the floor by suspending Draymond. If they didn't suspend him, then you could cry foul. What's the NBA supposed to do? Keep letting Draymond swipe at players' nuts in their most highly watched games of the season?

In game five there was a play where Kyrie Irving clearly saved a ball from going out of bounds. Refs called it out. Did the Warriors fans say the fix was in then? No. Refs miss some calls. The Cavs dismantled the Warriors these past two games. Warriors didn't deserve to win. Let's see if they can nut up for game 7.

Protecting the integrity of the game then why was Draymond allowed to stay in that game to begin with. They went to the monitors they could have thrown Green out right there if it was deem so bad. But they didn't. That's the bullshit of this where something that happens in one game gets transferred to the next. Do fouls get transferred do points get transferred to the next.

If a decision can't be made within the game and the league has to go back and review I'm sorry but now they are just looking for an excuse.

I'm not gonna lie I'm feeling for the Warriors because this reminds me to much of what happened to the Knicks vs Miami.

Lakers Sac I agree. The Cavs had this. That was a questionable call on Curry but throwing his mouth piece at a fan was out of line. The whole mouth piece thing is out of line.

Should Curry be suspended for Game 7?

If Vmart is right, Curry could have kicked a ref in the balls and he would still be playing the next game.

The league got what it wanted which was 7 game series. So what do you want to do suspend Curry? Why not handy cap the Warriors some more make it a cake walk for the Cavs.

Was joking about his suspension...and piggybacked on your idea of a manipulated finals. Of course they would not suspend Curry for Game 7- it would go against your idea that they want a final game with the kind of drama that will make up for a pretty lame playoff season in general.

I got the joke, but this manipulation of games doesn't take injuries into account and that is my issue with this. It amazes me how unimportant winning a championship is to the NBA, there is more emphasis on the business of drama and extended revenues and series than the game itself. i don't know what this is doing to everyone but now the game just lost meaning to me.

I don't recall your reaction to what Green did in the OKC series...

This took place the game after the kick in the balls game:
https://vine.co/v/i9bqnBJTeew

Refs did not call a foul...and GS scored a basket. What if Kanter breaks his right wrist or injures a knee? NBA did not even review it and say there was a mistake, and Green was not suspended. OKC won the game, but Green should have gotten a flagrant and a suspension.

Please...tell me that Green did not intentionally try to trip Kanter.

If you talk conspiracy, be consistent. Somewhere in Oklahoma there is their own version of Vmart complaining that the NBA wanted GS to beat OKC, and right now he is saying "Oh...so now they suspend Green!"

When you can't have an answer, often its labeled "Conspiracy"!!!
Like Stern is still in the basement with his legions of Illuminati cloaked friends with symbols of skulls and crossbones, sacrificing a young virgin in an intense ceremony while conjuring up the elongated ways to which inflict artificial drama upon the unsuspecting viewers.

Dozens are in on this, but nobody disgruntled ever spills the beans. Except for Tim Donaghy, a convicted felon who needs money.

Curry has been the darling of NBA for over two years and reigning MVP. Bottom line is he got sloppy and looks tired/injured. I know we all want our teams to win and when not blame it on something!!!!
I doubt Curry would be suspended. He was very cool to shake the fans hand and apologize for his behavior. His wife is out of line with her comments. She is free to say what she wants. Her father in the Casino with Warriors stuff is nothing bad, but it can be provocative. He was rocking his credentials in the casino? Why? Perhaps security did not want him to look like he was an official or an employee of the casino which might have its people wearing ID's as well. On the other hand, Cleveland just might be a city full of arseholes that are racist and hostile to celebrities.

He shouldn't and wasn't suspended for he kick on Adams. They needed to give him a flagrant foul. That was the right call. The same with LeBron and Green he should have been given a flagrant but they didn't give him one why? Because it wasn't that bad as deemed by refs during the game. The Green situation reminds me of when J.R. got suspended against the Celtics and the Knicks imploded after that. Green is a dirty player who got caught playing dirty twice. Stern probably would have suspended him during the OKC series for that kick, but Silver erred on the side of keeping the best players on the court and not deciding the series based on a suspension. I'm okay with the position that Silver took and it basically came with a warning to Green along the lines of "don't do that again or you'll get suspended." It isn't the league's fault that Green went back and did the same thing again and had to take a suspension because of it.

Forgetting the playoffs...with the popularity of Twitter and other such sources of info, we have been hammered with the terrible calls officials made during the season.

I'm not sure whether refs are getting worse, or their typical incompetency has simply being magnified by social media and the amazing quality of video which allows us to see things much better, but I have seen some terrible calls during the year.

I see your point but my gripe is why was Green allowed to stay in the game if what he did was so horrendous. If the league can't make an immediate decision and allow the player to play or remain in the game and bring back past transgressions to implement a game ban then the system is broken. now the league has tainted the series with their meddling. I should say planned interference to keep a vastly inferior team in the series and now injuries have come into play also.

I agree to a point. There's definitely more of a spot light now, where people can publish and analyze the flubs. But I think people "get" flubs, and are fairly forgiving of such. Flubs, however, are not what's undermining the NBA's credibility. It's their inconsistent treatment of events, their lack of transparency, and what seems to be a corrupt desire to extend series over fair play.

The NBA could, for example, better explain how they train refs to spot flops, detect dirty play, or better position refs on certain plays. This would be good, but, even so, they're left with the impossible task of explaining the blatant inconsistent treatment of players based on star status: why guys like LeBron now, or Shaq in years past, can commit offensive fouls with immunity, or guys like Wade are consistently allowed an extra step. There's a star treatment that's just wrong and undermining

Moreover, and more to the instant issue, if you're going to have replays, and then after that league review, the NBA needs to do a much better job of consistency (the bedrock of fairness). OKC got jobbed twice with regard to Green -- Adams' nut job, and Kanter trip. Each was egregious. It's laughable that they suspend Green for the LeBron situation but didn't for the Adams' kick or the Kanter trip. Completely insane. You could make the case Green had every right to do what he did to James, because LeBron put his own nuts directly in line with Green's ability to get back into the play which he had every right to do. If Green simply jumped up while Lebron was stepping over him -- and in effect head butted Lebron down there -- it could have properly been called a foul on Lebron as a moving pick. At a minimum, Lebron's instigation should have been a mitigating circumstance.

I never thought there would be a worse commissioner than Stern, but I was wrong

GustavBahler @ 6/17/2016 3:43 PM
Cavs plan for game 7, get the F out of LeBron's way. I respect Curry and Thompson's skills, but I wouldnt mind seeing them checked. Losing game 7 at home would be liked being checked by Barry Beck.

Before I first looked more closely at the James/Green incident, I figured, "There goes Green, again," but James was much more at fault on that play, IMO.

Of course if I was Lue, I would have had guys trying to provoke Green into committing the kind of foul that was going to get him suspended, which is what James ended up doing.

You are right about the consistency issue, though, but that is why I was not upset that Green got suspended- just seemed like things were balancing out.
