He looked good. He set Thomas up for that three. Smart does a nice job in that role as well.

JR Smith with one of the more ridiculous (and telling) halftime stat lines:

In 20(!) minutes he took 6 shots and made 4...the shots he made were all 3's (4/5). He had 1 foul...and that's it. No production stats- no FT/R/A/B/St/TO... He did have a foul though. He was a -5 while on the court, even though he had 12 pts.

no production stats = negative-sum player and just proves how overvalued scoring is... to some that will sound ridiculous... but them's the facts

can someone tell Derozan to stop trying to score against PG13!! dude has locked him up and thrown away the key! lol

I haven't watched much of the playoffs yet but did watch 4th quarter of the Cavs Detroit game, and even though the game was back and forth and featured some unbelievably incredible 3 point makes, it was boring basketball. All 1-on-1 PG hold it and pick once to get mismatch and then do something at the end of the shot clock. Barely any player movement. Barely any passing. Boring for me.

ugly ending but SVG has that young detroit team playing great modern ball. Constant drive and kicks.

So . . . I _think_ GS can beat the Clippers without Curry but it's going to be close. Although the MRI results aren't back yet (Curry could be out for the year) it looks pretty certain that he's not going to be back for the Clippers (or Portland) series. Lillard and Paul will be much harder to deal with without Curry but assuming GS gets solid minutes out of Clark, Ezeli, Rush, Barbosa and well, the bench in general . . . and assuming no one else gets hurt . . . and assuming Kerr figures out some rotations that don't completely tire out Livingston, Iggy, and Bogut . . . I think GS might, just might, put themselves in a position to get Curry back a few games into the Spurs series. Statistically, GS has been awful without Curry on the floor over the last couple of years but he's been healthy and so the sample size is small. For whatever reasons, the adjustments needed to play well without Curry on the floor haven't happened but perhaps if Kerr knows Curry is out two weeks, he'll figure it out. Knocking off Houston in the next game should be easy . . . follow that up with a couple of Thompson 40 point games and a string of triple doubles for Green . . . and maybe they can hold out until the Spurs show up.

MRI results are back = Grade 1 MCL sprain. basically he just needs to R.I.C.E. it for 1-2 weeks. afterwards theyll "re-evaluate"...so basically iif theyre down 0-2, hell play...if theyre up 2-0, then he needs more rest. lol

i think the warriors without curry can split 2 games at SF vs the clippers

NumberTwoPencil @ 4/25/2016 3:56 PM
Yeah, sounds like GS will be lucky if Curry's back for the Clippers (or Portland) series, probably have to plan on him not making it back. Tough. I'm sure they'd rather play Portland than the Clippers without Curry.

I will laugh long and hard if The Warriors flame out in the playoffs- spite is all I have left this season!

I love Curry. I find it harder to root for Draymond and Klay - they seem like dweebs.

Dray is a great player and I'm sure I'd love him if he were on my team. But I find it hard to root for him.

Evan Turner is on my list of guards we should contact. Not sure why he'd leave a good team playing modern basketball to come to the Knicks, but hey, it's worth a shot.

He wants to resign in Boston but he might get more money leaving. Boston has Smart who plays a similar role. I think they should keep Turner but you never know what they might decide to do.

I think they should keep Turner too if only to save Phil from himself.

Going back and forth between Felton and Lin playing well kinda sucks.
mreinman @ 4/25/2016 9:08 PM
Anybody think Aaron Pierce from 24 looks like Steve Clifford?

Pierce
