I wonder if he still thinks he is a max player cause he is no where close.
Of course he is worth more to an old school team but there are very few of them left.
Yeah I read that. I have HATED Dwight Howard for a while now. His poor attitude and body language. His penchant to disengage if he doesn't get touches. All of that said if Phil can get him for a reasonable price he almost has to do it. The rebounding and D is still strong and the depth he would add is hard to knock.
Is this just rehashing the rumor from a couple of months ago?
If Phil picks him I am sure a lot of knick fans would love the move.

well it would beat talking about Tony Wroten
Another selfish, me first player who tunes out coaches and teammates - what are waiting for?
I can't stand the guy but he's still a strong big. Top 3 rebounder at 11.8. Top 2 FG% at 62%. Top 15 blocks at 1.59. Only 1.4 assists but that could be better if he buys into the Triangle. He should given the number of touches he'd get. Unlike playing with Harden this style would involve him a lot more.
For 5 millions a year, sure!

Ha! Yeah we wish. He has a $23 mil option he'd be opting out of. Hard to imagine him taking anything less then $25 mil. He may want $30 but I doubt he could get that with his rep. I still think Phil would have to try and sign Howard if he wanted to come here.
We need another big and the depth would be incredible. Add Howard and a 3-D SG and you have a much tougher Knicks team.

Center is not a position of need for us. O Quinn is not a beast but he costs nothing, can be a good passer at times and has a nice mid range shot. Plus I think he was not as focused as he could have been with what happened to him last year. I expect him to bring more next season. The only focus should be the guards.
Howard does not deserve $25 mil and I doubt he'll get that much.

The name of the game is to maximize your talent. If Phil can get Howard he should. He'd be an upgrade over RoLo and the depth chart would be stronger with RoLo off the bench.
We can address guard even if they signed Howard. People were suggesting Pau so why not Howard? He's younger and still able to rebound, defend and score efficiently at the rim.
shiieeettt, get'em phil.
Dallas will most likely be his destination. I can see them giving him a nice sized salary to secure him. A sleeper could be the Spurs depending on the deal.

The upgrade in Stats and the downgrade in attitude makes it a wash. I don't think we need to spend $25MM for him. He is absolutely not worth that. The name of the game is to build a team the right way. Paying $25MM to Dwight Howard is the exact opposite of that.

It is intriguing. Would be like Rodman or Artest a malcontent but turned around
Big issue is Phil was the coach /horse-whisperer then
Whoever is coaching for us (Vogel please) would have to tell Howard to focus/dominate on D
Maybe we flip rolo for draft pick?

I won't say lowbAll but the his guy is already loaded and doesn't need money other than for ego
We would need to tell him he need to take a below market contract so we can build the team. And he'd be coming here to be superman again not lex Luther

As a back up to ROLO, like where does he fit on this roster, we already have to 7 footers, and howard ain't coming here to be no ones back up, and your not paying Rolo to be no back up.
Besides, that guy is softest big man in the history of big men.. No thanks
I don't like Howard's personality on the court but I'd take him next to Porzingus.
stop - not a position we need- we're fine with ROLO - Dwight doesn't bring that much of an upgrade so no reason to sign and then trade ROLO.
Focus should be 100000% on the backcourt/wing type shooter/slasher/penetrator.
