Naw, you got other issues that loom large here!
Lets look at this for a second, Rolo game evolved, and KP did pretty good. You should be ok with the job our staff did with bigs last year.
But I doubt you'll want to be ok. YOu have an agenda and have worked very hard to promote your distain for all things Kurt Rambis. In the great words of Jim Valvano "Never give up"!!!!!
hiring rambis as head coach is like hiring a child molester who serve 10 yrs in jail, to watch your kids..your reason would be, I THINK HE'S REHABILITATED
WOW! You could not have picked a worse analogy to try and make your point. GEEZ man, get a grip!
I'm just trying make a point dude, the coaching staff sucked as bad as the back court, if they didn't we would not be In this situation, Phil would have already named rambis the HC, or fisher would still be here. I'm just sick of some of you putting most of the blame on the back court.
If we had a better back court, maybe fisher or rambis impact would be overlooked, or if we had a coaching staff that said, I just don't have the talent to run this system so let me just utilize the talent I have in a way they will succeed, like playing Calderon at the 2, quicken the pace, playing 10 guys instead of 14.
why are you acting like those were not major issues.
I hope this kid can come in and have the kind of impact KP had
Obviously there were issues with coaching. I think most would prefer an upgrade at Head Coach. Still the most impactful aspect of any team is the players. Just a simple fact. Improving the talent would no doubt help a great deal. IF you think this team would still lose with 2 above average starters in the backcourt then I don't know what to tell you. The main issue IMO is most surely about improving the talent on the roster and yes appointing a better coach, but in that order. If they upgrade the guard talent but kept Rambis the team will still improve. Maybe not as much but there will be growth.
Both have to be address, can't fix one without the other. Rambis as a history of relying on vets no matter how good the rookies maybe. He flip flops with his rotation 65 games into the season.
The better your talent the less a coach has to really worry about in terms of rotations and in game decisions. Most coaches struggle when the talent isn't good enough to make clear rotation decisions. Fix the roster first and foremost. All the coaches we are interested in were FIRED. If they were miracle workers they'd still be with their teams.

all right relax dude, because kp perform much better under fisher (and you know it FISH) then he did rambis, and rambis was benching KP in some 4th quarters in march, and hardly played Grant until the vets ask, and calderon went down..in fact as soon as fisher was fired, the so call rookie wall(like they say) went up.
With so many coaching positions (10 total so far) this season, why wasn't anyone from our staff (particular rambis) offer an interview...(and don't tell me he's off limits), has his name even come up with any GM in the world as potential. maybe that would have given phil more pressure to either offer him the gig, or move on.

Why do you even bother Nix?? He obviously doesn't have the knowledge to understand how the game truly works which he makes pretty obvious with the things he says.

KP's last 6 games under Rambis 19.3ppg and 8.3rebs, so was he just over the rookie wall or was that Rambis's great coaching?

no need to find a knock on rambis. He is a great coach for a tanking team. If that is our direction then I am all for it.

Are you serious, 6 meaningless games when the young guys were seeing regular minutes....are you really defending/promoting Rambis..Do you really want to pull up all the articles about rambis history with young players.
name 3 good reason to keep rambis

How do you know what Willy can be? What is "OK" in your book? You do this kind of vague and meaningless negative crap all the time. How about some substance to your posts? Go ahead and break Willy's game down for us.

Is there a high percentage of second round picks making it in the nba? I guess you also have to cross reference that with the data on foreign second round picks too, idk.

no ... sorry ... making up crap is your job.
I have no idea what willy will or could be but 2 rounders who come to play in the NBA are rarely good and rarely make it. You never take these things into consideration hence the 9 million tony wroten posts.
He may be ok or he may be lou admunson or he may be a star but chances are that he won't be good.
Negative crap? Straight non fantasy land truth.

Response was to what was bolded. However, you would need to quantify what making it is for a guy picked in that spot (34?). If making it is being a rotation player versus being a starter or even being more than that. But again, I was agreeing with the bolded part of what Nix said.

Please! Do us a favor and try to actually assess the INDIVIDUAL and not this crap about what the odds are on 2nd rd picks. This is such BS and a cop out when you have nothing else to add to the conversation. With all the UDFA's that have made it to the NBA it shows you can't just assume anything about where a player is drafted or not drafted at all. We don't care about the odds being against it. This is only about Willy and his actual talent and not the entire group of 2nd rd talent collectively. Your odds don't mean Shyte. All that matters is what Willy's actual ability is. So either you know something about his talent or you can STFU.

Is that really being negative or just practical?
I think he could grow into a rotation player.
