So we saw Wroten has been working with H2O and now Grant is working with Rauf. Seems to me like the Knicks are pretty focused on improving. This is contrary to the narrative we get from much of the Media!

Grant is going to be a good player. He's got the mix of talent, physical tools and work ethic. I expect him to take a big step forward. I know the players like him as well. Still thrilled about that pick and trade

The NBA allows for up to 2 inches to be added to a player's height (basketball shoes) so my guess is that he's 5'11"
Met Rauf in the mid-90s... maybe 5'11" tops (I'm 6'1"). Think this is a good thing... whether you like him or not, he was/is a great shooter. That's a big part of what Grant needs to free up his playmaking and penetrating strengths... if Rauf can help him develop a solid pull up - definitely think he'll be able to take the next step this upcoming season. Seeing this makes me more certain I'd put the available money into a quality 2 guard and take our chances with Grant (and Wroten) developing into a decent caliber point.

I met Grant in person, before we drafted him. Imagine seeing Grant, his brother and father in the Department of Motor Vehicle (DC).....It was like watching three giants walk in. Grant has all the physical tools you want in a PG....His physical build and height is perfect for todays defense against guards like Curry and Westbrook. As he gets stronger and smarter, he will be a beast on defense.....Same with Wrotten.
I'm the same height as Iverson, Chris Jackson, Chris Paul.....6ft with shoes.....5'11 without. And Jerian Grant was clearly 6'3 or more. And he was shorter than his brother and father. If Grant was on a different team, in a different system, under less pressure, knick fans would be trying to trade for him. But in this environment, it's going to take him a little longer to become an impact player. He should continue where he left off next season, which is great for a second year PG.

Yeah...he was a great pure shooter...I actually thought Jackson's comparison of him to Curry as a shooter was legit. I also think of Calvin Murphy when I think of Rauf as shooter. Murphy was very short, but was also an amazing shooter, with a machine like stroke.
Hope some of the shooting confidence Rauf had rubs off on Jerian.
According to Isola, Isiah Thomas was also there working with Jerian.

I agree on Grant. I think we saw him start to really turn the corner in April. I think he'll be very good.
I just hope he's shooting 1000 jumpers a day this summer. Maybe 2000.

If he can get up to 35% 3PT or above, Jerian will be a solid bench player. He's not quite starter status yet with his wild inconsistency. Good for a change of pace guard in the 20-25 minute range.

I think he was so inconsistent because his minutes were so inconsistent, and the triangle really had him baffled. You give him a pick n roll more simplistic offense, and he can thrive
