This is how Trump is winning. Lots of Republicans agree with him, but they don't respect him. They vote along the party line.
I respect Adam Silvers leadership even if I don't agree with this decision.
this decision was unprincipled. They gave Dahntay jones a game suspension for what seemed like a lesser infraction; they provided absolutely no explanation about why this gets bumped to flagrant 2 (meaning the refs missed it) but no suspension in this case but one for Jones.
Silver is not good; i thought he was a clown with his subtle dig at the triangle (he's not there to be a celebrity, comedian, or analyst. He, like Stern before him, should just clam up)
this just confirms things. Institutionalized star treatment
This. It will be interesting to see if the Thunder take a police thing yourselves approach. Have to think Green is getting an extra bump, shove, kick etc. every time they have a chance and if he reacts he gets the suspension he deserves. I thought JVG (the league calls too many flagrants guy) said it best when he said the only question to me was one game or two.
Green got away with one there but he is a Star and the broadcasters on the post game all said that it was unintentional which gave the NBA an out so they did not have to suspend a star and give OKC the series. As much as I think that Green did it intentionally, as a fan, I did not want to see him sit since it will tarnish a potentially great series.
There is a "fix" and there is politics. This was a political issue and the NBA had a tough decision. I am happy that he is playing though he got a gift.
I really like JVG. I tend to think he goes overboard on wanting things not called. I think it said a lot when he said he thought the debate was one game or two. I have seen a lot of photos and videos from different angles. None made me question whether it was unintentional. Also, the Jones foul did not come close to what Green did. I thought Adams would be pissing blood for awhile.
I love JVG and he is usually spot on. He was right about the intention and if you asked him, he would have predicted that he gets away with it.
He said during the broadcast that the thought he would get a game or two.
should or would?
He said he thought he would get 1 or 2 games. Reggie said he should have been suspended tonight as well.

I guess JVG guessed wrong. I did not expect him to be sustpended though he deserved to be.
Green is very talented, but i think a screw is coming loose under OKC's pressure. Last night he seemed to have another "unintentional" (or was it?) leg incident
I don't know how to post the video, but be sure to watch this in slower motions and it cetainly looks like an intentional trip. NBA will regret cutting this guy slack

He CLEARLY tripped Kanter intentionally. Not sure how the NBA can see this and call it accidental.
Also led to a fast break.
A TERRIBLE non-call on the court AND in the review room.
I just don't understand what some people see when they look at this kind of play, but there is clearly no objectivity if they say this was not intentional.
When you see it in slow motion, it is worse and more obvious.
Green alone has turned me against rooting for the Warriors. If they somehow come back I'll be rooting for the Cavs (assuming they get in) even though I don't want to.
I am actively rooting against the Dubbs now because of this bullshit. THEY SUSPENDED KNICKS FOR HAVING THEIR FOOT ON THE FUCKING BASELINE. Fuck GS and fuck this bullshit. Let's go Seattle!

yes the slow mo portion is pretty damning. Clearly grabbing dude's leg, with both of his. I think Draymond is one of those guys (a little like Rodman, but not as nutty) who is on the verge of just loosing it at this point. I mean, I'm glad that he's competing like hell but he has to dial it back a bit with the cheap stuff
NBA central is now looking like the 3 stooges. Steph gets tripped or kicked in the nuts and there will be suspensions (including the whole Knicks team just for old time sake
)
