His issue he cannot surrender to the fact that championships are build by GMs and coaches regardless of how good best player(s) are.
And dynasties are build by players, coaches, and GMs who surrender to the Team. Who became a part of the bigger thing, bigger that parts, bigger than life.
He thinks that he entitled to build his own destiny and this limits his legacy, this robed him from becoming the GOAT.
Sometimes it is just luck, sometimes man just get only what he deserves.Funny, Jordan had a problem with Krause who thought he was the architect of the bulls. Thorn drafted Jordan.
Lebron went that route because Cav's enabled it. They were afraid he'd leave. He did anyway. As you know, im not into the "Blame" thing.
If anything, Lebron should have hired his own "GM". The construction of the team still got him to the Finals!!!
one thing for sure is Lue to me got out coached by Casey in Toronto, and is really getting his head handed to him by Kerr.how are you so sure that Lue got outcoached? Was lue outcoached going undefeated and blowing teams out before that toronto loss?
Cleveland won on talent. Im not sure BTW. I said "To Me". See, Nalod don't speak as if he the authority. Im stating my opinion, So no, Im not sure.
Game 2 against the Warriors I saw Love go down and Cav's gave up. Why? In my opinion they did not have an answer. GSW Is winning and Cav's look lost.
They in my opinion have too much talent for two beat downs like we saw.
Love is the scapegoat. Problem is Kyrie don't know how to play team ball or defend, JR only takes 9 shots in two games, and seemingly they have to "get Love going" for them to be effective.
I don't know why they fired blatt, but if winning championships was the reason, Im not seeing that they figured out Lebron, Love and Kyrie.I think it simple... When the talent bar is so high as in NBA playoffs finals you need players with heart and determination to move the ladder. The heart and determination Bosh/Wade show is second to none. LeBron added unmatched skills and power to the equation and supper-friends worked out. Nothing like that with Lowe/Kyrie... and Bron is not a spring chicken.
Same right idea but wrong personal. Each Supper-friend lead his own team into the battle before join forces and this was in my opinion the biggest thing.Great observation arkrud. Love and Kyrie have all the talent in the world, but something is missing from both of them. They put up numbers like nobody's business on a regular basis, but when the chips are in the middle and the stakes are high they disappear. Grit, determination, toughness, heart, will power, clutch gene....something is definitely missing with those 2.
Add JR to the list. Rookie coach? Im not saying Blatt would have done better, but he did with less.
Problem with cavs is most likely they are not playing any of the the other 28 teams.

To me, it looks like lue remembered how to coach tonight.

When JR makes his shots, everyone looks good!!! When Lebron is in beast mode, all the coach's he took to the finals and had fired looked good.
Lue had it easy last nite, his $20,000,000 forward was not available.

One of this GSW stinkers they put up here and there when the 3-ball is not falling.
Labron and crew did great defensive job finally and this is the only way to bit GSW by outworking them.
They just need to do this another 3 times... not an easy fit.

so we blame him for losses but no credit for winning? Or its all regardless of him?
If Cleveland loses in six, did he not exceed expectations? Not sure people realize how well Cleveland has played in the playoffs compared to last season.
I think Lebron's efforts to get his teams to the finals is under rated. His legacy, and expectation is he should have more titles.
Last nite was a lot about Lebron guarding the 4, or Draymond Green. Lebron is a better defender than Love.
JR gets blame like anyone else when he is not doing his job. He was not getting shots. Was that his team as well? touches? of course.
JR did his job last nite, and was a big part of the game.
Nalod wrote:Yes, they played great. and if you really catch my point, its that making the finals should not be diminished, but it is.

I got your point .... Lebron is not liked so he does not get the respect he deserves.
My point was that just like the silly toronto sucks thread after 2 bad road losses was premature before a they got to play at home, so was this. We never learn.
Cleveland wins last night if Love plays ... easy to blame him when they all sucked on the road. I think that they will need love to spread the floor if they will win next game. Too many long 2's that are low percentage went down last game. Can't rely on those.
Love has a hard time matching up defensively against GS just like every slower big does. GS is a touch match up since they play small and fast. If bogut plays then Love can at least guard him.
