For me, the player to get is Derozan. He fits the 2-3 and is another scorer to add to KP and Melo. I am not that impressed with Conley and I dont think the difference between Conley and Grant/Wroten is big enough to warrant the money. Derozan is light years better than Awfulalo or Galloway.
Durant is my second choice for the max. HE is just a player. He can play 3 and Melo 4 with KP 5. Or Rolo, KP, Durant.
The problem is the backcourt is still too weak. Derozan fits the roster better but not as good a player. Is he worth the max? Probably not but in today's NBA he might be.
It's almost funny how the Melohaters will resort to any kind of retarded logic (Tank again TANK TANK TANK! Hinkie-ism! I love Philly! BRIGGS and his picks are making great sense to me now!) to escape the possibility of contending during his tenure here. It's borderline pathetic, but slightly amusing.
PJax pulls off Durant, and manages somehow to get us even above mediocre and still remain youthful in the backcourt and the unthinkable (for some) might happen in the next 3 years...

I thought we wanted to get away from that.... but no "that's the way the nba is right now" so we should look to do what hasn't worked for us for 20 years because of a trend in 2016?That's a loser mentality. The good teams don't have overpaid players taking up their cap. Traditionally that's all we've had, from Eddy Curry, Jerome James, Weatherspoon, eiesly, Shandon, Houston...amare. We just can't do that anymore. There's too many basketball players out there to just settle and drown our ability to improve the team because we have so much money invested in mediocre players
Are you sure the good teams don't have overpaid players cause i'm pretty sure some of them do especially Cleveland??
Shumpert is their only over paid player. Golden state has no overpaid players
Is he? Is T.Thompson overpaid who turned down a 5 year $80 mil contract from Clev and i'm not even sure what he ended up agreeing to?? How bout K.Love? How bout Tiago Splitter and his 2 year almost $18 million for the Hawks?? How bout D.Lee getting $15.5 mil for one year with the Celtics? Is D.Rose worth his $20+ mil per he gets from the Bulls?? How bout Wes Mathews and his 4 year $70 million contract he signed? Is R.Jackson worth the 5 year $80 million contract he signed?? Nobody on GS you say? How bout J.Thompson and the two year $14 million?? How bout Enes Kanter and his 4 year $70 million??
I can do this all day but there's plenty of overpaid players on bad, good and great teams.
UH I said good teams. Cleveland is the only good team in the east. Golden state picked up a bought out Thompson. Golden state well win it all. Just about every team that wins it all have no over paid players. Maybe since you have all day you can look into that
Hahahaha so now it's any team that wins the whole thing doesn't have any overpaid players....lol
I'm pretty sure my point was proven and it was sunday so i did have all day since that's my one day off a week.
