A steal for Memphis... they will sign the kid for 2nd round money when he should have been taken higher
Zubac is a steal too smdh

what else is new. The spurs have good luck and smarts. Thats why they have been a cotender since the 90s
The spurs are also in Texas, where football is the dominate sport, and fans are patient with their player development.....unlike NYC. We would've chewed this kid up and spit him out, just to watch him flourish on another team after trading him for an injured vet.
I still think we need to fortify behind Rose at the point. So many good choices -- Cat Barber (this guy's a big-time scorer in the NBA starting day 1), Demetrius Jackson (Eric Bledsoe 2.0?), Gary Payton II (quality athlete/defender with good PG and offensive potential -- imagine the Garden crowd if this guy came down a hammered down one of his lefty jams on someone's head?), Yogi Ferrell (Kyle Lowry minus some defense?), Kay Felder, Marcus Paige..
OR, do we look to target a big like Diamond Stone or AJ Hammons to help with the loss of Robin Lopez?

Fingers crossed so hard for Whitehead or Gbinije.
I'd love to get my Cuse boy Gbinije
Two guys that should have been drafted by now in this weak draft. I'd take both
Let's just hope Phil is keeping up with this thread!!
If Phil kept up with the UK site, he would've never cut Wroten after seeing his 40 paged thread.
Wow Chieck Diallo fell hard...yet another steal

DraftExpress: Only reason Ivica Zubac dropped to the 2nd round is he was insisting in coming to the NBA straight away. Turned down multiple stash offers.

We only made it to 34pp. If we made it to 40pp, Tony might still be a Knick.
Though really, I want to hear the story on that at some point. That bummed me out. Had hopes for that kid. I'm sure the Knicks staff was evaluating him, but man that was a bummer.
PhilinLA wrote:I think the plan is to have Whitehead learn how to push it correctly behind Rose for a year, while they both attend Horny's Shot School.
I hope you are correct, sir.
Brogdon is another good player
There goes Brogdon, i wanted us to get him.
Supposedly pick 38 is for sale... maybe Knicks make a move here?
crzymdups wrote:Supposedly pick 38 is for sale... maybe Knicks make a move here?
Warriors bought it
I think the Knicks will end up picking up a really good undrafted player

i havent been too encouraged by the moves or lack thereof the past 2 days
This could be where Whitehead goes... sigh...
Man, Phil let's try to buy a pick -- there's gotta be a guy they're high enough on toward the end here, no?
crzymdups wrote:This could be where Whitehead goes... sigh...
nets making moves tonight and they were in a even worse draft position than us
