Tom crean is making me want Thon Maker more. I always said I would take a flyer if the knicks could get two picks.

That rumor has been around for a while. Bill Simmons had Butler on his podcast last week and the subtext seemed to be Simmons endorsing a trade of Butler to the Celtics...

And a lot of the Bulls fans seemed in favor of a full blow up and rebuild after the Rose trade...

though I have to say, all that makes their taking on of Robin Lopez and the three years on his deal all the more perplexing.

I just threw it out as a thread, too. I had not heard about it, and it seems strange given the Rose trade.

I agree. I took the Rose trade to mean that they were building around Butler... but Butler doesn't seem like he's the best bet to be your overall best player. Though he's an ideal second best player.

I can see the logic for the Bulls just doing a full reset. Though, again, that makes them taking ROLO seem a bit odd.

Marc Stein saying that Philly is offering Nerlens Noel, picks 24, 26 for Boston's #3 pick - Stein saying Philly is in the lead with that offer.

Giving Philly Ben Simmons at #1 and Kris Dunn at #3

crzymdups @ 6/23/2016 7:41 PM
Ben Simmons goes first.

Lakers on the clock!

crzymdups @ 6/23/2016 7:43 PM
Sounds like Boston weighing offers from Bulls and Sixers

Marc Stein ✔ @ESPNSteinLine
Numerous rivals describe Philly as the most active team in circulation ... with a trade involving Nerlens Noel looking more and more likely
11:53 AM - 23 Jun 2016

Celtics don't seem to want Okafor so talks switched to Noel.

I'd want a 2017 pick over the 24th and 26th picks

crzymdups @ 6/23/2016 7:45 PM
Brandon Ingram goes second to the Lakers... SF. Lakers have a nice squad developing...
meloshouldgo @ 6/23/2016 7:48 PM
Ingram will be a really good player - watched him on Duke, solid player immense upside
SocraticBallin22 @ 6/23/2016 7:49 PM
Ainge owns this draft. Rumors have him trading the pick either to Chicago involving Butler or Philly involving Noel, Covington and their 2 1st round picks. Lots of options. Let's see how this plays out!
meloshouldgo @ 6/23/2016 7:50 PM
OMG Darko reference - this draft is doomed. Stay out of it.

If I were Boston, I'd take Butler in a heartbeat... though Noel wouldn't be too shabby either...

EnySpree @ 6/23/2016 7:53 PM
What the fuck? The Celtics took Jaylen Brown?

They brought him in for a second workout this week... kinda suggests they might keep him...

meloshouldgo @ 6/23/2016 7:54 PM
hmmmm
Uptown @ 6/23/2016 7:55 PM
Celts taking Brown might indicate a trade
