Per year... Trying to find more info...

I have a bad feeling its for 4 years. Big Noah fan, not a big fan of a long term deal. Will be impressed if its a shorter deal.

Wait can't we not sign free agents till the first ?

Cant remember if they've ever leaked the paramaters of a deal before the signing date.

There's a report from Tim Bontemps in the Washingotn Post that says that's the expected amount. It's in the thread we have going about this. He can't agree to deal til July 1. He's meeting Phil midnight July 1.

That's some funny crap. Teams are gonna HATE the Knicks. Noah has that kind of persona that gets under your skin.

The guy has been well rested and as much as I am afraid to say it, I bet he is 100% healed. We just need a "solid" backup for both him and Rose to avoid injuries.

If we get Noah and a good+ (or better) SG, we can actually be near the top of the East, really.

For just a bit more we could have had Hassan Whiteside. A younger, more prolific scorer, rebounder and shot blocker, who was also decent from the charity stripe. Either the Knicks brass are clueless, or Hassan's late season injury is a lot more serious than the media leads us to believe.

I'm inclined to agree with you regarding Whiteside - as long as he is 100% healthy, we go with that.
We are placing HUGE bets hoping that Melo, Rose and Noah can stay healthy for the year. If they do, along with KP and a nice SG, we can compete imo.
Huge huge bet though. I would have been wanting to tank and build a team, but that ain't gonna happen.

So a bit premature?
