1) Find cheap, undrafted talent.
2) Lock them into long term 4-year cheap (minimum) non-guaranteed contracts. hope they blossom.

We had done that with Tony Wrotten - kinda silly we cut him instead of trading him for a second rounder...

You can do that with 3 slots maximum--like what Houston did this offseason with the theory one will pan out. The others are easy cuts or trade toss ins.

So you want to play 11-12 deep? There is no DL in the NBA.

What if a few guys get hurt at the same time?
