I don't know, I hope we have a team option in there somewhere but I can live with it. Guess that means DWill is outta here. Wonder if Phil had to decide between those two or if DWill was just going to be too expensive.
Great news, a crappy bench would have kept the team from being competitive. Hopefully Phil can find some more frontcourt help.

We had to renounce DWill to sign Jennings. There was zero chance DWill returned after we signed Jennings. Lance's contract was different - we could go over the cap to offer him the league average salary and that's what we did.
Phil is steadily putting together a nice off season right now. Just need some front court additions.

KOQ is still here and Hernangomez is on the way. I agree one more minimum guy might be nice... maybe Plumlee? I wouldn't say no to DLee... but I don't think he'd move the needle all that much.

Whoever we sign next probably isn't going to play much anyway. We need to find a good lockerroom/veteran leadership type, like an Elton Brand type player.

The nice thing is that we have Noah and CLee for that role.
This is really reminding me of the 2012-3 team with Kidd and Sheed. Except I think the potential ceiling is way higher.

fantastic deal. Both fits team needs and shows amazing value in this market. He's going go get as many minutes as he can handle
Glad to have him back. Solidifies rotation at 2-3, forget Jennings D or fg%, he can distribute and play uptempo, now just need a 3-4 and rotation is set and several mins can be added
people that think Rose is just volume or that Noah cant play can just watch how well a guy like Lance Thomas plays next to better talent. This is a great fit and a fantastic glue guy. Team is really looking good.
