Yaaaay! That's a do-over I am stoked to see.

Been wanting to watch that video, thanks for posting it! Ndour really really reminds me of a (mostly) more talented Balkman and I really liked Balkman but he got lazy. (Sort of gave Cannabis a bad name. )
I think Ndour might really have some moments and be able to contribute on the 2nd unit, maybe not much his first year as he will not be as dominant athletically against NBA players, but he has a chance to contribute and get the team and crowd going.
Yeah - Balkman is not a bad compare but that NDour jump-shot looks pretty damn nice as well. I like that he competes, he's active and bouncy but at the same time he has a bit of a feel for the game. I like how he drives and is able to stop hold his pivot foot, pump-fake .... finish around the rim.
You can't compare him to Balkman just cause they look like each other with the dreads, thin lanky frame and real dark skin cause they aren't the same player on the court at all.

Are you not aware of the 'dread comparison' rule.
Somebody mentioned Chris Copeland.
It is alive and well.

Comparing N'Dour to Balkman and Copeland is highly inappropriate. I see him more as a cross between Chris Wilcox and Jordan Hill.

I was going to say a shorter Chris Bosh, but somehow after he left the Raptors he suddenly seemed like a different player.

That was in the fine print of the blueprint if you had bothered to read.
Now hold up. The nets did have a blueprint for success.....it just happened to be written in some goofy russian language no one could understand.

Birdman with a jumper!

I think he will be the next Brian Grant.

Why not tool?
They are athletic PF who hustle, rebound, defend and run the floor. They have somewhat similar appearance and both are role players.
We don't have to match DNA at 99.9999% match to compare 2 players.
The guy who compared Sprewell that was a good compare as well - very good.
Finestrg@ 7/16/2016 4:44 PM
Hard to pinpoint who he reminds me of exactly. You immediately think of tall/athletic/high kinetic SFs that bring it on both ends. Jerami Grant but with more offensive potential? Ceiling might be Jeff Green/a taller Gerald Wallace (maybe not quite that fluid or skilled offensively but close). I dunno.. Super intriguing though, no doubt about it! Great pick-up. One I can fully get behind. These are the guys I want to see them finish the roster off with--players with upside and a future, not has-beens.
I like the last 3 comparisons you guys all came up with too--Birdman with a J, Al-Farouq Aminu and some Brian Grant. He's got a dash of all these players.

Akrud! ! He calling you out!
BRIGGS@ 7/17/2016 2:47 AM
I think this is another question mark signing with our backcourt. . We signed the F from Europe--isnt this some kind of duplication? Another 3-4?
earthmansurfer@ 7/17/2016 3:09 AM
It is strange how we are really going hard at the 3-4 spot but I imagine they are doing this by intention. Perhaps they see some of the 4's (KOQ for sure) as guarding the 5, or 2 spot (Maybe NDour for spot minutes?) I hope we give Randle the last spot as I think he can be a good 4th guard. So, we are actually ok at the guard spot with Rose, Jennings, Sasha and Randle/Vet. KP can play spot minutes at the 5.
The injury Gods have to be good to us for sure though...

Maybe it's the hair but does anyone else see a little Latrell Sprewell to his game? The jabstep jumpers, the way he shoots the 3 ball and of course the D?

Yeah, he doesn't have his athleticism, but some moves are reminiscent. I also see some Backman on the glass. Luckily his shot is better. Maybe it is just the hair...

Yeah I said it last year and earlier in the topic , 6'9 spree, I don't know ndour is very athletic, obviously doesn't have the speed of a 6'5 spree but seems to have that animalistic behavior spree brought to the court every game and those step back mid range jumpers are very spree like, the way he thows down dunks is very spree like ... His defense looks awesome !

Sprewell was like Iverson, he had a gear that most players dont have. N'Dour still has a great motor, and I believe he is going to be great for team chemistry.
TheGardenFaithful@ 7/17/2016 11:59 AM
I think a Chris Copeland that plays D is also a good comparison too, I watched Spree for the knicks on some of my old Pontel VSH's and I just thought his shot and the way he gets it off looked a lot like Ndor but it's also the way he plays defence he's smart with his footwork and timing too just like Spree was but yeah he's nowhere near as athletic as Latrell was during his career.
