if you make the assumption the entire list is up to date and most teams have done the majority of their business, seems very possible it is.

(which, btw, should put some perspective to the perception of much money was spent on free agents compared to what owners are required to spend.)

So we are now relegated to giving out minimum contracts only?


I think we also have a trade exception from the Grant trade to the Bulls...but this only helps if we make a trade, right?

No. The trade exception was generated because CBA rules required it. But it counts against cap space, like all exceptions do.

The Knicks almost certainly renounced it in order to signs Noah, Lee, Jennings, Hernangomez and Plumlee up to all the room they had left, and then went over the cap to sign Thomas and then used the room exception to sign Kuzminskas.
