You're talking about an e-mail almost ten years old from Podesta?! Politifact rightly called this claim absurd. You can't use oversampling to skew a polling result because the results (in any reputable poll) are adjusted for party affiliation. If a poll had 10% more Democrats, each Democrat's vote is given 10% less weight.

Comey already said there was no evidence the e-mails were deleted to conceal anything. And just to be clear SHE did not delete the e-mails, as you claim. Her attorneys deleted the personal, non-work-related e-mails. As far as we know, the new e-mails are not ones she sent or received. So she has no way of knowing what's in them, and it's understandable she wants the info. to be released. (That's what someone who's innocent would want actually.)

I will grant you one point, though: Clinton has not defended herself as well as she should have on this issue. I think her team's calculation has been to move off the topic and talk about Trump whenever it comes up, which I think is a miscalculation.

All I said, was that it was ironic that she wants ALL the info released, when she DID NOT turn over ALL the info in the first place.

There are also reports that the someone has the 33000 emails and they will be released and that is why Comey has acted.

Once again, as I said, its all speculation.

Hmmmm. I'm not familiar with that wikileaks. You're right it's all speculation. It's also all speculation as to whether or not Trump sexually assaults women, but I guess the media is done talking about that. The timing of these bombshells seems to have worked out better for Trump.

Again, it was a joke and how could I be dishonest about something so remedial? Sort of on the level of a spelling mistake. Give that as much importance as you honestly see fit. btw - I don't think the Chuck Woolery post from twitter was verified either (as the identity wasn't the point.) Perhaps if this wasn't a basketball forum I wouldn't even include the jokes, but it is what it is.

Regarding this thread, I am wondering about why Comey came back out as he did. It just seems odd at face value. But the rumblings of those in the FBI who assisted and wanted a conviction (reported on) might have pushed his hand. At this point to Hillary, at least if it is not cleared up by election day, it might put Trump over the top. We have another week though, so...

And related, Trump is turning things around now and if he does get in, you can be sure Trump is going to go after Comey - in a very legal way as he has every reason to do so.
I mean look at the Senate/Congress grilling Comey. You generally don't talk that way to the head of the FBI and they went after him.

Who ever gets in as the next president, I just think there is going to be some cleaning house and if Trump gets in, I expect a lot of people to be going to prison as the corrupt writing is on the wall.

Michael Reagan, take that for what it is worth, is another who has said Comey has lost support in the FBI. (and mentions high level resignation are possible. Just conjecture, but something is brewing.)
