perfectly agree on Randle but not necessarily on Stephenson as we dont need his tempermental attitude- - nobody signed him until now for a reason.
we could do without NDour in the lineup and sign a veteran center or veteran PGand whoever excels from that trio of PG rookies

I like Ndour and I think he's going to be good in small ball lineups. He's a 2 way player. I think people are underestimating this roster. The talent on this bench is solid. They just haven't played in the NBA yet but they've shown they can play in Europe. I think we've got what we need with this roster.

I'm really going to miss the players i listed at the end of the season as KEEPERS (Grant/Gallo/Lopez) ..
I too like Ndour and what he brings to a lineup as a SF. I also agree to many sports writers are underestimating this roster. A lot of sports writers would have listed us a playoff team if we didnt do the Rose trade, but we did do the offseason signing of adding Noah Lee and Jennings to the roster.
Having Joakim Noah and Robin Lopez automatically makes us a postseason team.
I always looked at Robin Lopez as a natural PF who performance were outstanding as a tandem alongside his center brother Brook Lopez.

I can tell you that having Rose is a major shift in HOW this team can play. Rose's efficiency has been much talked about as if that's the only thing a player can bring to a team. It's not. If that was the most important thing then the Knicks should've kept Jose Calderon. He's highly efficient but he doesn't impact the game in the same way that Rose does. Efficient or not Rose forces teams to adjust how they defend.
In Hornacek's offensive schemes having PG's like Rose and Jennings is a very important part of how things will work. The faster pace and constant attack off PnR or attacking the close out requires guards that can be effective in pushing the ball and being aggressive.

Rolo was definetly a good player for us despite the fact that he struggled quite a bit int he first 2 months or so but he doesnt have that dominant presence that a Noah would have with regards to energy and most importantly leadership. Also, lopez is a bit flat-flooted whereas a player like Noah can rebound the ball on one end and take it coast to coast or just lead a fastbreak with his ball handling skills and elite passing talents.
youre right about Rose having that effect to make other teams adapt to his play granted that Hornacek decides to play faster and with a smaller lineup....one other thing is that DRose is not much of a leader nor was Lopez but Noah would take over that role
