I just got the new 2K17 game (its amazing). don't laugh but I used it to simulate what teams may need, lacking, strengths, weaknesses. I can kinda get a feel for it (i.e if I play with the bulls and I'm struggling, it confirms that I wish the bulls had more shooting). probably silly but it gives me a good feel
As for the knicks, here are a couple observations:
- KP and Melo are offensive forces that cant be stopped
- Rose CANT shoot or finish at the rim
- Lee can shoot but cant dribble
- Noah can defend, rebound but he frustrates me with these missed layups
- Jennings cant shoot
- we have NO BENCH AT ALL. lol. I automatically lose my lead once the bench comes in
- Overall = competitive team that will play in close games
don't take this TOO seriously. lol. just some observations

I think the first version of 2K I played was 05 for original XBox, with Ben Wallace on the cover.
Played a lot of NBA 2K8 back in the last of my bachelor days. Smush Parker was a beast in that game, with Kapono in the corner! Last version I owned was NBA 2K11 for PS3, haven't upgraded.
Maybe I'll have to pick up a PS3 copy if they are still making it and have some fun! Keep us updated on your 2K17 season!

I just gotta say Rose can't really shoot in real life so why you got him shooting in the game. In 2k16 I have him attacking the rim. Same with Jennings. That's their strengths. Melo is always a force. Good to see KP is better. In 2k16 he camps out at the to of the key waiting for 3s...

yeah in I play 2k16 and rose cant be stopped around the rim, but the jump shooting is super suspect, I do get to the FT line with him more than any player, I just attack with him and get the other teams bigs in foul trouble...melo and kp can score from any where and lee is lights out from down town..so is kuz, he is actually my best 3 point shooter..lol
I didn't know Noah cant finish layups to save his life, I almost want to trade him back for lopez, but he is a hell of a rebounder, 2nd in the league..lol
I was just looking on youtube, 2k17 looks awesome, im especially impress with the switching up with different commentary, from webber, to miller to greg Anthony from game to game, then they have david Aldridge and doris burke reporting the side lines...
2k17 has top every sports game on the planet
