We learn that Kristaps can dribble through agility drills at speeds similar to the average NBA point guard despite being a foot taller.

KP trade threads are dumb. You don't trade your own unique draftee with super star potential.

I don't think this is a KP trade thread
earthmansurfer @ 9/23/2016 1:29 PM
Perhaps we see him handle the ball a bit more. I think his game will just open up as he see's the floor well and is already a pretty good passer.

Yeah, I was wondering who "PG" was - Pau Gasol?!?!
But I think he's just saying KP is like a point guard in terms of speed

Thanks for posting this Gudris! That was freakin AWESOME! I love sports science and KP just amazes me with his freakish talent. I mean he's just a freak of nature.

fishmike @ 9/23/2016 2:57 PM
insane skill set. Reminds me of Garnett, who played PG in HS I believe
CrushAlot @ 9/23/2016 3:58 PM
Wow. That was amazing.
Moonangie @ 9/23/2016 4:13 PM
Great video. KP is our franchise player. Thank you, Phil. Now let's build out around him. So far, nice start. If we get him some post-season experience the next couple of years, we should be in good standing to contend down the road. Finally!

I thought "point guard" right away . . . because we went
through a similar Triangle conversation in LA with Lamar Odom.

There was recurring talk of using him as a "point forward" . . .

PG is an upcoming unrestricted free agent, so no. Even if he wasn't an impending free agent, that injury of his during the Olympics would dissuade me from giving up 10 years of KP's prime. Even so, I'd love to have Paul George by any other means.

At this point, the only "superstar" player that I'd consider giving up KP for is Anthony Davis and even then I'd have my reservations. Davis seems to be a bit too brittle for my taste and I wonder if he's already pleatued. The only real reason why I'd even assume that risk is because Anthony Davis is in his prime and might help us make the most of the remaining years of Carmelo's.

Shit, Garnett played PG in the pros during that 2004(?) Western Conference series against the Lakers after Cassell went down. He was a grade-A certified asshole but was also an incredible talent!
