Good as a spot up shooter. Less so off the dribble or in traffic. Solid effort on defense. Fights over screens. Has a really good knack for being in the right place at the right time. Could use more lower body strength. Gets knocked around a bit, hustles back up off the floor though and closes distance quickly. With the right weight training and attitude, I could see an Avery Bradley type player. Defensive tweener.

So much more athleticism on this team than a year ago . . .

Two observations in 1st half:

1) Noah looks healthy. He was initiating offense in the half court. He was finishing around the basket. He looked like the old Noah.

2) Ndour and Noah frontline caused havoc defensively in the 2nd half with our comeback surge. Those are two, long, athletic and active bigs who could give teams fits. Does Ndour have a real shot at making this team? Makes me wonder.

I like that Noah is finishing around the rim at a high rate so far because the last few years that has a been an issue. I also like that Lee has 5 FGA but they need to get him some open 3s. KP needs more shots and Melo needs less shots and to move more. I do like that Melo had 3 easy opportunities around the basket but he missed an easy bunny to start the game.

Re: NDour - Horny's in a tough spot. So many decent bench bigs, all built for different situations and they can't keep them all. But he did say tonight would be as close to a regular season rotation as possible. So KOQ and NDour getting the bench big minutes in the first half tells you a lot

Lopez taking threes and trying Dirk fadeaways... get that outta here!

Lee!

KP has been brilliant on interior D and has lost his man a lot on transition and when his man floats to the perimeter.
