Yes I read the damn article. I'm just talking about in general Rose has had issues defensively. However I have given him credit when he has made nice plays like in the Memphis game. Jesus Christ almighty

Sorry. Your response seemed like you didn't read it. Rose was responding to a question. When I read the article I thought this was a great response to the question he was asked.
“We got to do that,” Rose said when asked about the team having a defensive identity like the Bulls did during his years in Chicago.

How do you think he should have answered it?

Its not about his actual response. I'm going by his history and I have followed him back to simeon. He is a gifted offensive player especially going to the hoop but his defense has always been suspect. So basically what I'm saying is that if he really means what he is saying then he has to show it on the defensive end

What you wrote didn't fit the context of what he said. He was asked if the team needed to develop a defensive mentality like the Bulls had with Thibs. You said he shouldn't talk about lack of defense. I don't know where to go with that. I didn't say you didn't read it. Making that assumption would be disrespectful.

Really? I don't see that in your words from your original post.
I can understand Noah calling out the defense since he is a great defender but Rose shouldnt talk about lack of defense lol
You know what I'm done with this. I'm tired of you saying "Did you read the article?" or "you are influenced by knick hater writers" or stupid crap like that.

I just didn't see how your comment fit at all with the context of his response. I also don't see it as what you later said you meant.
F#ck his response. I'm talking about you now. Ive tried to be nice, respectful, and even compromised with you even if I didn't agree with what you said in the past. However I'm tired of you acting like I'm wrong all the time or I never read the right things correctly. I just have had enough of it
What you wrote didn't fit the context of what he said. He was asked if the team needed to develop a defensive mentality like the Bulls had with Thibs. You said he shouldn't talk about lack of defense. I don't know where to go with that. I didn't say you didn't read it. Making that assumption would be disrespectful.
well you basically assumed either i didnt read it or im too stupid to understand it. This isnt the first time. I have no problem making a truce in fact i want to but i would appreciate just a simple sorry
My intent wasn't to hurt feelings but this is a message board. I have no idea where your comment came from in the context of the article. To me it doesn't fit so I asked about it. I thought I was clear (without calling names etc.) on where I was coming from.
You didnt hurt my feelings at all. I just feel sometimes you just assume im wrong because we have different opinions. For example i admit im not a big rose fan and you are. Thats totally cool. Anyway no hard feelings dude

Did you read the article?

I hate when fans answer questions with "I followed him since..." whatever yo. So have all the rest of us. You still aren't going by anything happening now.

I don't know how else you respond to that question from a media member. I thought it was a great response.
Once again I'm NOT criticizing the response. I'm just saying that talk is cheap you need to actually do it on the court.
The article was about his response. He was asked a question. Berman headlines can lead people to assume things. His response does not deserve any criticism. The article was about his response. I guess don't go there if you don't have an issue with his answer.
I know what the goddamn article is about. I don't make assumptions based on what the author thinks. I don't give a shit what berman says. By the way i'll say what I feel about it. I wasn't criticizing Rose. I was basically saying he could set a good tone for the team if he does better defensively on a consistent basis

I am not a big Rose fan. I don't know where I stand but he is a Knick. I am in the same spot I was when the Knicks got Melo. I wasn't a fan of the trade but the idea of it has grown on me. Some posters hated him from the start and without a lot of cause in my opinion. I also didn't want to make any assumptions about his character based on the case he was involved in until I heard/read the facts of the case. I do think he looks healthy, explosive and a lot better than anything the Knicks have had at the point for a long time. I am concerned with how the team has looked when he has played (1-3)including preseason.

i agree with a lot of your points. However i got accused of Rose hate just because i didnt like the trade and im not fond of his personal activities. Yes i agree he looks explosive. However its way to early to say he is the old Rose. We still dont know if he can last a whole season. I still feel he isnt a true point guard. Thats not a bad thing but next year i want to get a true point guard.
nixluva @ 11/2/2016 11:32 PM
Rose is a PnR Combo Guard. Thing is we aren't really running a PnR heavy offense. So if you run Triangle it takes the PG out of it quite a bit. The idea coming into the year was to speed the offense up and run more PnR with KP involved which made sense. So far that hasn't happened and there doesn't seem to be any effort to get KP going.

I'm glad that Noah gets so many touches and assists but the balance is off when you don't run enough PnR/PnP with Rose and KP!!! That is just like last year with Grant and KP not getting enough PnR looks. It's the most natural 2 man game we have and it's not being featured as we were told it would.

Interesting how some of things from last season is rearing it's head into this season despite new players and a new coach. Makes you wonder....
