Knicks · Game Thread - Pistons at Knicks - Small ball against Drummond? (page 4)

KP6 with a great streak, Noah shooting 3s however took away what little excitement I felt when I turned the game on.

Noah hesitating and missing the midrange. He needs to shoot that to keep the defense honest.

Also, why is Noah allowing Drummond to post him up 5 feet from the basket--that's way too deep can't guard him. Ne needs to front him. Post Defense 101.

I've been waiting for a game like this where KP just has it going and his teammates look for him.

meloshouldgo @ 11/16/2016 8:34 PM

I don't know f anyone can dunk with Drummond on their back. He needs to hit his free throws.
dacash @ 11/16/2016 8:37 PM

True, but the question was more general.

Kristaps is cooking my word, what a game PorzinGOD
WP76 @ 11/16/2016 8:38 PM
Noah now shooting FTs at about a 33% clip for the year. Seemed like he never missed when he played against us in Chicago. In any case, those are points we just can't afford to give away or teams will start a "hack a Noah" strategy.

So true, he wants the ball right now, he wants to kill em

fitzfarm @ 11/16/2016 8:40 PM
man KP is dominate keep giving that boy the rock
meloshouldgo @ 11/16/2016 8:41 PM
Think KP is finally seeing that he can basically have a mismatch anytime, anywhere. Now if he can just hone in on that killer instinct. He needs to develop his confidence andb
and start taking over games in Q4
WaltLongmire @ 11/16/2016 8:47 PM
KP not showing any hesitation with his shot...doesn't seem to be thinking-just playing. Wonder if Dirk had a talk with him after the Dallas game, maybe gave him a confidence boost.

I don't expect him to duplicate what he did in the 1st half (glad to be proven wrong), but this might be a glimpse of how he can play on a more regular basis a few years down the road when the team is his.

Impressive.
