KP with the block then high fiving fans as he run back down the court! lmao
Darn! Why can't we put these guys away?
Can't take our foot off the gas right now. This one's not over.
To foul or not to foul, that is the question?
I say...do not foul.

Because we have flow killing, turnover prone ball hogs who don't play defense
Great Game. Too close at the end but a grat team win.
Excellent game from Porzingis and Noah had a lot of impact on defense, but didn't play in the second half?

Drummond was out because they were down late, so Horny went small. Smart move.
Great performance by KP. Geez, channelling our inner Knick chokedom at the end there.
tooo close in the end but a victory is a victory glad kp finally broke the 30 point mark
my posse was good tonight
Ever since Hornacek told the team to look for KP more, both the team and KP have answered the call. Showed Towns like versatility. Holiday has really surprised me. Early on he looked like a THJ clone. Didnt take him long to figure out (unlike THJ) that he had to do more than jack up shots.
Noah had a great game, but he really looks like he's having trouble moving his feet.

Last time we played Detroit - their small ball combo forwards Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris tore up the Knicks on the wing. Will Hornacek go small to combat that lineup? It'd be nice to have a healthy Lance Thomas for this game, because both Harris and Morris are too big for Justin Holiday.
Maybe N'Dour can be called upon?
Also last game, KP was in a good rhythm but Hornacek sat him for the first nine minutes of the 4th quarter. Hopefully we'll see better rotation management tonight!
Jennings also had a solid game - hopefully he comes out inspired tonight.
Let's go!

Go for 3!!!
Melo as the 2nd option. Team looked good the D was good until the end.
The team is growing. Nice win against a gritty team.
Gotta keep this up, now we need rose to have a break out game
We may have seen the beginning of the KP era in New York tonight. He was the 1st option; he was getting MVP chants; he took over the game; he had the killer instinct. The torch may have been passed tonight, and the legend that is KP has finally emerged--the savior in the form of a unicorn lol
KP finally has the strength and confidence to go along with his talent level. He had the complete game going: 3 ball, mid range, post up,alley oop dunks, drives and blocks. He is comfortable in his game right now and has raised his level of play. It's only going to get better.
BTW, the Pistons played well tonight and are a playoff quality team with great coaching. They did not go away and made some big shots, but we were just better. Great win to build off of.

Could not have said it any better. All hail the new KP, or unicorn King.
Great game overall but the end was horrible play from Melo and Rose. Too much stalling and holding onto the ball. I know in the 4th quarters many teams run their offense through the stars but there was a lack of focus there. On both ends. Jeff needs to get them to work with that in pracrice. If that's the new closing lineup which is essentially a spread offense with speed, running most of it through Rose, you need much better work of getting Rose screens.
I do like how things are coming along. Kristaps is a special player. Felt so since last year. Need him to keep developing above all else. It is just 1 game, but he has been consistent all year (aside from one game they barely gave him the ball and Jeff called them out on it) in contributing on offense. His isolation game, especially his ballhandling has improved incredibly. Exciting.
Noah loved the game from him. What a character. Gets benched last game, stays positive and comes out with this game.
Our main weakness right now is our bench. We don't have a reliable scoring threat. Jennings can drive but teams aren't afraid of his scoring. Too many rooks/newbies too. Jeff made an important call with inserting Porzingis in early in the 2nd. Longterm I just don't know what else we can do. We have to have Rose or Melo or KP out there at all times in the game. There's no other way to deal with the lack of scoring power off the bench.
