Knicks · What if we offer the Spurs a 2nd round pick for Andersen (page 1)

He just has no role there going into his third year. I think he'd be a much better for for the Knicks--a potential PG down the line at 6-9. Im sure his agent wants him out and I think Phil and Hornaceck could give him a spot on unit 2 where hed be in better position to use his under rated skills.

I think we have Chicag0's second from the Rose trade.

Kid is a player but I want the Kuz to get some more run. Anderson doesn't have a clear position. I think that's his problem.

I also would like more time to see how the talent we have on the roster develops. Holiday has come along nicely and who knows if eventually Kuz gets going. Jeff has been doing a good job of keeping everyone involved and ready to contribute. Willy, Kuz and Baker are still in development and haven't reached their full comfort levels yet IMO.

Danny Green is averaging about 6PPG this year, and averaged about 7PPG last year...and Anderson can't push him from his starting role?

I don't watch the Spurs on a regular basis...but it seems to me that if Anderson was as good as some feel he might be, he would have pushed Green from his starting spot.

I'm assuming his issue is D, and a continued lack of strength...so folks want a guard who is defensively challenged?

Don't see us having an interest in him...but then I'm not getting the big bucks to make these decisions.

Im looking at someone cheap we might be able to add. The two names that I come up with are Will Barton and Kyle Andersen. Will Barton can help us now---probably the better choice given that DEnver has 8 guards ut there will be some cost. Andresen would cost basically zero.

i think his problem is that he has NO SPEED. theres a reason why a great coach like pop doesnt play him. its cuz he knows hes NOT GOOD. lol

Yes . . . but I can't see the Spurs saying yes.
