IMO he basically called us a trashy team, like theres no way in hell they should lose to us, you suppose to respect every team you play regardless of their record, that's why we lost to the wizards, we came out like it was going to be a cake walk, and it would have been if we came out with the same intensity as if we were playing A top team.

They're currently ranked 20th in the ESPN power rankings, behind 6-8 Detroit who they just beat, behind 4-8 Miami, behind 4-8 T'Wolves.

The Knicks are most definitely still using the Triangle!!! This is much harder to perceive since they do other things as well, but they are very much still using it. Jeff has tweaked the Triangle so effectively that most don't really see it anymore but it's still there with slight changes.
As for the D, they have needed more focus on it and it appears that they have been doing just that. It's been good to see that the team has improved and needs consistency in their effort and execution on Defense.
I agree that there needs to be respect for any opponent in the NBA. Teams are actually much closer than it may seem. You have to earn every win in the NBA. Any team can be beat if they don't play up to their full potential. Any team can play above their talent level if they come in with the right attitude and go hard.

Part of what is happening is having guards that can drive and run a fast break. The speed at guard hides the Triangle along with Drag Screens that they run but underneath it is still Triangle. As long as the just play basketball and not get too caught up in trying to force the Triangle then it works. More often they improvise and just use their talent as they should.

This is a 50/50 topic as far as guys joining forces with other elite players.
I mean even with the knicks, would lee, jennings and Noah sign here if Kp, rose and melo aren't on the roster.
