They may be having remorse on turner and Leonard too
And off topic. Greg Monroe? He's not even starting for bucks does he suck or is he hurt
Yeah...been looking at Monroe in the box scores...amazing how his stock has fallen.
Did not know they were paying Leonard that much...I actually like Turner, but he's been underperforming. Season not over, but they're paying about $45M/yr for the 2 of them...not a good FA haul.

Yeah, but he definitely didn't go off. Thought Rose and Lee were great on D for the second straight game. Portland might have the toughest backcourt in the league and Rose and CLee shut'em down - with help from Holiday and Jennings.

Greg Monroe is still doing Greg Monroe things. Just not sure how he fits with Jabari and Giannia
Think the bucks and Monroe might have done us a favor with that signing. He's a half court big on a team that needs to run to succeed.
We need some defensive bigs to take this to the next level..

Giannis is playing some scary ball right now. It'll be fun to see KP and Giannis face off... not that they'll guard one another, but still, two vastly different and athletic seven footers on the floor for opposite teams - should be fun!

The Knicks PnR defense has improved. They give help until the guard can recover and then they get back to the roll man very quickly.

KOQ didn't really recover well on Davis early on, but Willy Hernangomez was better.
Hornacek said it was sort of by design to trap the guard on the pick and roll and direct the ball to the bigs, they wanted to stop the bigs, but the idea seemed to be they'd rather have the bigs beat 'em than the guards, which on Portland makes sense.

I was thinking the same thing. Another guys who puts up empty stats. J Kidd has some stones not only benching him but hardly playing him.

yeah they got up on him, an disrupted the PnR, thought it was more of a team effort. Lee had some really good moments on the defensive end
I guess the heart to heart talk with coach and management was about the triangle..One player said Phil took it well..
Last 5 games KP is averaging:
25ppg 9rpg 53% shooting

Interesting... where'd you hear that?

During the broadcast they said that Lee said Phil took it well. Also, Melo said Phil didn't speak during the meeting.

I noticed that Melo line. Didn't catch the Lee line on the broadcast. Interesting indeed.
POR, ATL, and DET aren't great teams..We should be able to compete with them with our talent..Our bigs have to play better defense to compete with the Torontos of the world..Still early..

Wally said it during the game..
If the team does well the rest of the way without the triangle, what does Phil do at the end of the season..

Early for sure. But POR, ATL, and DET all made the playoffs last season. It's nice to beat them.
Great interview from DRose. It is easy to see why he was loved in Chicago.
