he's been a bit if a disappointment--he's got to knock down those open Js more consistently. With the looks he's been getting he should be shooting over 48 and avg 12 points He needs to pull his weight more or the team will not be able to compete with the upper yore teams especially on the road phil Jackson s done a great job and I get what he was trying to do with lee and Noah but these players have to play up a couple if notches I'm willing to trade my 2019 pick if I can get a serious upgrade at Sg if this keeps up. I don't know about everyone else but I want to win now. This is it. We have a team that is healthy many good parts and we don't want Carmelo to go over his age edge in subsequent years. Holiday has been an under rated move. The first best thing we can do is check randle it the d lesgue for one extra guard of this does not get better
he's coming around... he should and will shoot better. Lee is funny... he's like a career stop gap player. He always seems to upgrade his teams and eventually get traded as those teams look to get better at that spot.

Just say "NO" to trading future first rounders. We have done that for ages and it doesn't work out. Let's go a more Spurs-like route. I'm sick of trying to maximize our aging stars windows. We should focus on team development and tough play. Winning in the Playoffs will be challenging no matter what we add. Trading our future for a chance to get our asses kicked by GSW or Cavs is not a smart move. And it compromises our chance to take over from those teams once they settle down.
The Atlanta game was the first game I felt our backcourt imposed its physical advantage on other teams. That continued against Portland.
I think Lee is a very valuable glue guy. If you look at Charlotte, they went 20-8 last year after they traded for Lee at the deadline and put him in the starting lineup.
We'll be able to trade him at any time over the course of his contract - he came at a discount and is a great bargain. He's a starting caliber 2, who even though he's not shooting great is hitting 38% of his threes right now.
He's a great glue guy at SG. Trading him would be ridiculously early.
This team seemed to figure something out about the way it should play during their meeting. The way they played against Atlanta and Portland was great - those were both second round playoffs teams last year - let's see where this goes for a few months.

totally agree.. the plan should be to be scouring the draft and EU to replace our old guys. Also considering Phil's drafts I want him to have more picks, not less. I like the guys they scout and value.
Definitely! We need a sg that can shoot. Was watching pregame with Lee shooting 3's and he was hitting everything. i think he is in a slump and will come out of it. Big difference if Lee hit some of those wide open 3's last night. Also he needs to be more aggressive. Last night was doing a pick with KO, Lee ended up with a wide open 5 footer and instead threw a bounce pass back to KO that was stolen. Lee needs to shoot that shot! This team as well needs to stop over passing at times.

$35mm this year combined for Crabbe and Turner. My god can you imagine if Phil paid that for those guys? We have a nice rounded mix. KP is the guy who changes everything. We can beat you with bigs, wings or both. As we play better and better as a team and execution requires less effort this squad can win some games.
Always has to be a boogeyman.
