Was at the game last night. Great atmosphere. Great win. Once again, amazing to see how quick and tall KP is. Just towers over other really tall NBA players. The place went nuts on the left handed dunk over Plumlee. Btw, Everyone has a KP jersey. Rose is a flash. Leaves everyone behind. Can see why he is so eager to drive. Just seems like he can drive past everyone anytime he wants. The pick and roll between him and Melo or KP seem unstoppable. Overall solid game. Still jumps on every pass though. Jennings brought in so much energy. Crowd was into it but once Jennings came in and made some good passes the place lit up. He is an automatic energy boost. Melo looked healthier than I have seen in last year. Looked smooth and quick on short pull ups. But seemed to be out of flow with offense in second half and was forcing it. Crowd was not happy when he held the ball. Even if KP took a 30 footer, they preferred it over a drive by Melo. Hope Knick fans realize we need Melo to establish post up game for us to go far. Cheese was awesome on offense, did seem a step behind on defense. Seemed to be real comfortable in spot light. Can be our new Novak but with a drive. Lillard was real quick, but didn't even look at any of his team mates on several plays. Took ridiculous bad shots when the game was close. Took McCollum right out of the game. Great win for the Knicks. It was good to see other guys step up besides Melo and KP but KP lead the win. Awesome game.
nice writeup. You caught a great game!

Awesome - yeah, I think people need to realize that Melo's very presence means KP doesn't get doubled as often and Rose has easier lines to the basket to drive. No team should be able to pack the paint with Melo, KP, and CLee able to knock down a 3pt shot.
I hate that Melo got booed - he shot too much, but only in NY is it a problem to have a guy as good as Melo and a guy as good as KP on the same team. Do Warriors fans argue it should be Steph's team or KD's team? Do Cavs fans argue it's time for Bron to let Kyrie be the guy? It's a nice thing to have two guys who can dominate at various times. Even nicer when you have a guy like Rose who can step up and dominate for short stretches, too.
Was also lucky enough to be at the game last night. So far (knock on wood) I'm a good omen this season! 3 from 3 at the Garden! Last night was a really good team win and the atmosphere is building, the expectation levels increasing. We have the best roster in years, by no means perfect of course but what a difference having several scoring options, legit point guards and of course Melo and KP. This team can create a few waves this season and worry plenty of notable teams and I think we are going to have a really good home court record which is always a great starting point. It's exciting that at long last we can look forward with a fair degree of optimism. Boy I'd love to be in the Garden for our Championship run in a few seasons time......

hey.. fans booed Ewing and many actually thought we were better without him and playing more uptempo. Not a fan of booing home town players but it comes with the territory.
Good summary...seeing the game up close always shows you things you can't pick up on TV.
Thanks, I love reading these writeups

That guy took a 39 foot 3 pointer with 22 seconds on the shot clock, and miss the entire basket. I was like WTF...dude would have been plastered to my bench
People haven't seen much of it yet but Kuz is a terrific passer too.

Yeah, even a couple of Portland fans that were cheering his every move yelled WTF. Lol

And even nicer when you have a bench full of yoots with some tremendous upsides.
Only in NY...can we shit on our own and call it "BB IQ".
Hopefully Cheese gets the defense going. Please, no team needs a new Novak, or an old Novak, for that matter. Guy couldn't guard a tree stump or create his own shot.
am I correct to assume that "cheese" is a nickname for Kuzminskas?

yea man... because he's always smiling like someone with a camera just said "cheese"
