This is very simple psychological trick.
Trump has a lot of supporters who support what he does and they do not care how it looks.
When this people and people who are leaning to his direction read posts or hear the people who call him all this names and such they support him even more.
While people who against Trump do not need to be convinced.
Democrats were framed this way during elections. Now some (who did not get it) start working on his reelection.
Trump cannot be defeated using his own weapons. He is populist and more noise he generated better for him.
His opponents need to wait until his moves will backfire against the people who support him and then work with real facts.
Just let him be and support people you think were negatively affected by his politics. This will be the best weapon against him.

Yes, I think you are right. Trump has probably thrown more red meat to his base in his first week than any president before him. He will do everything he can to keep this base happy thru partisan actions and misinformation. Just like the Nazis they'll remain true to their savior to the end, I don't expect people already devoid of rational thought to suddenly develop the ability to think. People blindly chasing the illusion of their own superiority and greatness are the most dangerous force the world had ever experienced, historically speaking.
Keep bringing the fight to them at all levels or watch and wait for it to become a train wreck. Don't fall for pure sophistry being peddled as wisdom by some.

I as Jew who lost half of extended family (hundreds of relatives) in Holocaust support the decision not to mention Jews only.
It may be a better way to mention all groups of victims but it is easy to miss some group as it was so many.
I am a strong supported of not mentioning any race, national origin, religion, and sexual orientation in any government statements and even laws.
All people should have the same rights and responsibilities and deserve the same treatment so why make any effort to categorize and so divide them.
I know that this is not realistic but should be the goal of any progressive governance.

I am talking about tourists who go to places for pleasure or curiosity.
US cannot protect them in this countries so they are going at their own risk.

Trump is outright banning people from those countries from visiting, immigrating, or applying for refugee status even if they're green card holders/permanent legal residents. This happens everyday in every airport in America to permanent residents. If they are permanent residents or u.s. citizens they are released after being vetted. The laws have been in place. They are just being enforced now. Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to protecting your country from terrorism. Especially when it is homegrown and carried not only by immigrants but by the citizens born here. In my hometown. Of course the media and the left are doing what they do best by spreading the false narrative that they are banning and deporting legal residents and citizens. All in hopes of getting a democrat elected in four years.
