Is KP becoming ball hog player ?

No, it's just him in the post, perhaps that is why you think he's holding it. Large difference to holding the ball for extended times before forcing a shot up, his attempts per game are far from that of someone taking opportunities from others.
When you're a top scorer on the team you are going to hold the ball at times to read the defense. I don't see him holding the ball like Melo does. Melo wants the defense to set so he can figure out where he's going to take his shot and get his rythmn. There's a difference
The main skill in NBA which separates star players from the crowd of good players is ability to make quick decisions with the ball.
With all talents and physical tools this takes time.
Having smart PG on the team makes it much easier for the big man to get there and KP unfortunately does not have this luxury.
Instead he have to develop along side 2 purest ISO players in NBA in Rose and Melo.
If he will be able to get it in this environment he is on the way to greatness.
No doubt next personnel decisions should be made around KP and players like Rose or Melo should not be considered.
KP took 2 sky hooks in the last game that reminded me of Kareem. His form was good and he was close to the basket instead of shooting long distance runners. I hope that he perfects this shot because it would be unstoppable.

with the system and roster we have, the opportunities are endless if we would make the extra pass, we can put gsw/rockets like #s even with suspect defense. If Phill said there's 2nd rule (as far as holding the ball) then there should be countless drills.
Hold the ball for 48 minutes, but please play some D. KP looked disgusting against Faried.

He's a bad one on one defender like 75% of the league

Yeah but his help isn't so great either. I actually expect the 1 on 1 to improve. Help defense is a whole different monster, especially in the NBA.

Faried scored because of a breakdown by perimeter defenders...how many times did Faried actually initiate a move vs being a recipient of a dish off a drive.
I've been critical of KP for an over-emphasis on guarding the paint, but it was needed vs Denver, and Faried reaped the benefits when KP committed himself as a shot blocker. Faried is not a threat from 3, so playing off him was not like dropping off a player like Love, but if you commit to blocking a shot, your man is going to be open.
Not sure if someone is supposed to drop down to handle a guy like Faired if one of our PF has to protect the paint- would have to look at the video.
