Jennings putting on a clinic!

Looks like KPs injury isn't too serious. Already back on the bike. But he may miss a few games.

Jennings has played a great game. I love how hard screens OQuinn and Hernangomez set. Hernangomez is a hell of a 2nd round pick.

The 400 lb fan next to him should be on the bike, not KP. Just sayin'.

Another great win. Jennings, KOQ, and Willy are becoming standout reserves.

Agree on all counts. Hernangomez couldn't miss. Great game from the bigs.

Good all around team win.

With Rose back now we're 10-2 in the last 12 full games he's played. Much of that is what Rose brings, but it also makes Jennings much more effective coming in. They are a great 1-2 punch. One is a scoring guard who constantly gets in the paint. The other is a speedy point guard that looks to pass. It's a really dangerous combo. Teams are having a very hard time in Hornachek's offense to figure out what to do. We are roasting teams.

Liked Noah's game today. He continued from the performance of the 2nd half in Orlando. Stood out defensively.

O'Quinn. Beast mode. He's fantastic. A player like him in this current free agent market commands 10 million a year. We got him cheap. Great move by Phil. I applaud many of Phil's moves in the last 15 months. Drafting Porzingis. Drafting Hernangomez in the 2nd round. Replacing Fisher with Horny. O'Quinn. Kuzminskas. Signing Jennings. Trading for Rose and Holiday. Looking back, without signing RoLo to the deal we did in 2015 we could not have pulled off a Rose/Holiday deal. Each day that trade looks better.

I mean this is how it looks now by Phil

Good to Great moves:
Porzingis as a 4th pick
Hernangomez as a 2nd rounder
Lee 8 million a year
Jennings 5 million a year
O'Quinn for 2nd round picks at 4.5 million a year
Kuz for almost veteran minimum money
Rose/Holiday for Lopez/Grant.
Hornachek replacing Fisher.

Every one of the above moves look good for us right now, some great.

The ??? or bad moves:

Noah possible at the price we gave him (72 million)

I can live with 1 questionable move when it comes with so many well thought good moves. The question for the Knicks will be if Jennings and Rose play this way, how can they keep them both? I don't think Rose will ever be able to be a franchise carry your team type of point guard anymore and I don't think Jennings is a good starter but he's a great reserve. So both fit great in the roles they have here. Can Knicks afford to keep both? And if they do, they'll need to rely mostly on Porzingis and Hernangomez improving to become a contender. Even when Noah plays well, I still wish we had gotten him at 10 million a year. Allows us to keep Rose and Jennings next year. As it stands. Tough.

Hernangomez with the midrange Js... Wow. Just a simple efficient motion...doesn't worry about getting to any optimum height on the shot. Original scouting reports on him said his form was pretty good(thought he might be able to hit 3s at some point in his career), even though he wasn't taking a lot of Js in Spain.

Its the type of shot that will make a career for him, especially if he has a pg who is a willing passer.

KOQ with another great game, made even better because it was against his old team. You can't say enough of how his game has changed from last year to this one.

Our 3 headed center, with Noah, KOQ, and Willy is looking better and better...at least one of them is playing well in any particular game. Throw in KP, who can also play C at times, and it seems like we have the most depth at this position in a long time, from what I can see.

Now lets beat the Celtics- counts as a double win in the standings, if we pull it off

Triple win because I live in Boston and hate a lot of them (arrogant). Cmon Santa

Quite amazing how our bench has become one of the team's strengths....reported as one of the teams glaring weaknesses at the start of the season.
Andrew @ 12/23/2016 9:52 AM
Did anyone else notice the one defensive possession where Holiday basically ran down every perimeter shooter as the ball swung? Loved the effort. Def want to keep him at the right price.
