Wow. That is too bad. I thought he was going to the Lakers with his opt out. He wore a Laker colered tie at that game this year.

Looks like Phil truly is in New York for the long haul. So many second guessed him. This is a big indication he is staying in NY all 5 years. You don't draft a player like Kristaps, change the team completely and jump ship before you can even yield the results. Kristaps is still 2 years away from his prime.

tough one... relationships are tough. Sounded like they had a good thing for a long time. Few things stress a relationship like geography.
