His skills are completely gone. No defense, shot sucks. I know he is a good guy on the team but realy hurts us when we need him to play. We need to get some backups that can actually contribute on the court when needed. Ndour is probably next but at least he is younger and can play some defense, hustle. Sasha is just embarassing himself out there. Rather see Baker instead.
Sasha hasn't really played so maybe I could give him a little slack due to some rust but he really isn't giving us much. Might as well have a young guy with some athletic ability that might be able to bring some hustle on D and some explosion. He's had his time. Phil needs to think hard about the guys just taking up space on the roster.

This is tough. Sasha seems to be a bit of a big brother figure to some of the young euros. Also, the Knicks already have 5? rookies. Sasha may have a more important role then a guy like NDour if Phil decides to bring someone in.

Yeah Ndour never plays and when he does he's not effective and doesn't have a role. I loved the idea of Ndour but we don't really need what he brings right now.
Sasha may be a good mentor but I think his impact is probably leveled off by now. These young guys don't need him at this point IMO. There's no rush to do anything so Sasha will get more chances to prove his worth, but i've got him on my list.

He is definitely on the list. Ten day contracts start on Jan. 5th. I would love for the Knicks to go for a guy like Briante Weber. I think he has a ton of potential and could be a 10 yr player in the nba. I like Randle as well.

I wish I could get into Phil and Gaines and see what they're talking about. Gaines stays up on all the young prospects and so i'm sure he's WELL aware of Briante Weber. Would he be pushing for Phil to bring in a kid like that? Seems like Gaines and Phil's type of player right???
I agree, sadly. He was brutal tonight.
Chasson Randle will get signed by someone else sooner or later... we need to make a move quickly.
Cut him as a player...hire him as an assistant. Knicks don't lack $$... He will be around the game and is young enough to continue to do things in practice that most assistant cannot do.
Sasha is valuable as a practice player. He practices hard hand sets that bar for everyone else. He sucks but he's always ready to play and compete.
Kuz is on the roster...he should have had a chance to play yesterday.
Anyway Sasha is our vet. We can't ditch him for another player. Gotta keep chemistry in mind

You would think he would be their type of player but I also think they try to build from within.

Close! Better move Sasha over to coach bench and for the love of pete Phil quit f around and get Randle on roster. No need wait for injury to get Chasson, just cut/move the less attributed to make room for young Randle.

Hornacek usually lets guys play through mistakes and get into a flow but he pulled Kuz pretty quickly last night. That in bounds play was bad though.
The thing is you can't player sporadically I'm sure he wasn't in game shape. He should have started Holiday.
