When will you guys realize his best day are long gone. His shooting is getting worse and worse.
Trade him at the deadline while he has some value. His best days are behind him. Will only get worse.
the team defense is brutal, the defensive philosophy is garbage, that not on melo

You need a dominant center or guard it looks like....neither of which we have to play triangle
Maybe so. KP will eventually be a dominant 5. Without his D and outside shooting right now, we're lost.Orlando has 15 threes. A season high - this is not a coincidence, teams know they can get wide open threes against us with a few passes.
The secret is out.
That's what I fear. Without a starting lineup change, how can the look of the team change?5 losses in a row. Hornacek has to change something
Some would say the lineups have been changing but for the wrong reasons.
Honestly.... make a bold move like the bulls did with benching Rondo although for different reasons. Do the same thing with Noah and see what happens
Hornacek needs to act not talk. You don't play defense then you don't play. No exceptions

Melo is defintely playing like he's hurt though. This reminds me of so many games in his knee debridement season - right before he went out. Barely moving on either end of the floor. Just taking a lot of bad jumpers that clank off the rim short. Not going up for rebounds.
I predict Melo has another knee surgery this season or off-season.

Exactly and that should include benching Melo when he doesn't play D.

That's what I would do. Melo is supposed to be the leader. When he takes plays off the teammates see thAt. It Either affects morale or they decide it's ok for them to do the same. Conversely if he plays hard at both ends the teammates will do same
Alan Hahn looks like he wants to kill Wally lately... Wally seems to like getting under his skin. Wally may be the best defender on the team.
What was that highlight they just showed where hornecek turned his back as the play happened? Heard it but missed the video.

It was Breen actually..He initially said if the moved the ball more they would win more games..Melo is doing too much ISO..Then Breen later said Melo doesn't lead on defense..I thought it was interesting he singled out Melo..Meeks did set the tone and ended up hitting 6 threes..

Iso Melo.
Wally is waxing poetic about how Lee plays good defense and he must be disappointed in this team's defense..Lee is not a good defender..

This was in the post game - it was Al Trautwig, too.
I heard Breen doing it, too. But they definitely focused on it in the post game.

He was definitely a step slow or more on Meeks in the first quarter, allowing Meeks to get off to a great start.

He hasn't played good defense all season..It's like Affalo all over again when people talked about these guys being good defenders until you see them play...No way C.Lee would be moving around so much if he was a good defender..
Melo just said in an interview that the team has to play the defense scheme whether or not they agree with it...Seems like the players are questioning the defensive scheme..I'm really tired of these players..
This roster won't work from here unless something radical happens. On the bright side we may see a higher pick for the future. I'm trying to play the glad game now
