Ian Bagley saying Pj Tucker is on the block and the Knicks are interested. Dude played under Horny for 3 years.
If we really want to play Melo at the 4, then we need PJ Tucker at the 3. It's a tough trade to make cuz who do you give up? I just want Lance Thomas off the roster. Phoenix doesn't need Lance.
After taking a look, Rose and Lance for Brandon Knight, Dudley and Pj Tucker makes the most sense for both teams. Brandon Knight is out of favor in Phoenix, plus they want to play the youth they have at forward making Dudley and Tucker useless to them. They need the cap relief Rose contract gives. The Knicks need a young point guard that can shoot the 3. Knight can do it all if given the opportunity. Dudley and PJ would fit well at the 3 next to Melo at the 4

i dont think the knicks have ever admitted they made a mistake and letting rose go so early might be doing just that, but i see where youre going it makes some sense. and it looks like the suns dont really want him defense issues lol, he will fit right in

I don't think trading Rose would be looked at as a mistake for bringing him in cause when we got him it wasn't done as him being our future or as us going to sign him long term.
Yes please on PJ Tucker. I would love to have him and would even take away some of Melo's minutes in favor of him. He can play and guard 3's and 4's.
who do we give up for PJ tucker?
Hmmm... We would get killed on the boards with PJ Tucker starting along with Melo and KP. Not sure if I like Tucker at the 3 spot with this team.

Melo can rebound when properly motivated. He can guard the 4 as well.
Problem is he will wear down. He is on a max contract. He got pride.
Move Melo for PJ and you got something.
Melo and P..J. Would rebound well enough for there positions but I would worry about K.P.
P.J. Tucker is like a older version of Marcus Smart which is okay I guess but I'd rather the knicks go after James Johnson
Obvious Knicks move--starphuck for someone older than 30
This is just the same move different year if we trade off Rises expiring contract for multiple big contracts just to placate a role player for a coach.
How about checking someone in the D league who can play 15 minutes at the 4-3 before changing the team.
You can't Starphuch a 31 year old career role player

some guys will try to phuch any star
I'd consider Lance for Thomas straigh up. The move would hurt more than help if Rose and Knight were included.
The most logical move is Kuz and a filler (plumlee or Ndour) for Tucker. Would help a lot with a more versatile defensive player who can shift between the 3 and 4. We would see most games with a closing lineup of Rose, Lee, Tucker, Anthony, and Porzingis which should solve some defensive issues and improve the offense as well.

So you don't want a trade
i didn't realize he was that old, not that 31 is ancient. Anyhow he could help but i wouldn't want to give up much, and honestly (unlike last year) there's no one i really want to give up including Noah. I'd be more interested in Thabo (which i'm sure would irritate Melo)
We need some more wing defenders

It's like Melo for Carmelo... You add a car and it matches... but still cannot defend even by accident
i would be in favor of this move or picking up thabo

Ha, that's what happens when hunger creeps in. I was deciding what to get Five Guys when I wrote this. I'd would trade Lance from this year for last year's version if I could.

What do u get besides a burger and fries? milkshake ? What else do they have thats any good?
this guys numbers are on a major decline, he's shooting like 39%, and last time i heard, he was far from a lock down defender. That doesn't matter anyway because anyone who comes here leaves there defense at the front gate.
