The two players that really stand out to me are Tatum and Ntilikina when it comes to triangle players.
I do think we'll end up with Ntilikina, we'll probably blow the tanking and end up with the 10th pick

As long as we get in that top 10 its not the end of the world. The way this particular draft is, you have a bunch of really good players who all could end up being the best in the class. There is no obvious franchise player this year, but a lot of future all-star candidates. A couple might end up being great, a couple could be busts, but the best player, or a top 3 player from this class, could easily be drafted 9 or 10. Ntilikina might end up being really good.

I like his long arms, especially for defensive potential

I just want our FO to trusts its judgment and not swing for the fences -- we need to continue to build and we can't afford a strike-out

He's got great defensive potential, passing, and improved big time as a shooter. Not sure how fast he is compared to, say, D Fox, but at 6'5 with a 6'11 wingspan he has huge potential. Watching film, he sort of reminded me of a taller Jrue Holiday, as far as body-type and skillset.

Knicks lose and Dallas won. Knicks back at 8 and only 2 games better than Orlando for the 4 spot in the Lottery.

Truly a good day for the lottery odds!
We're now on 24-36 tied for 7th, and Magic and Sixers are 3rd and 4th on 22-38 & 22-37, and we play them both twice I think
SupremeCommander@ 2/28/2017 9:39 AM
If we can't get Markelle Fultz/Lonzo Ball, I want De'Aaron Fox... and truthfully I might be more interested in Fox than Ball. I just don't know if I could in good faith pass up Ball. I guess my point is that I am a big fan of Fox's game

I actually think we may end up with a SF or SG and then try to get a PG later like Bruce Brown in the 2nd rd.

I really like Fox's game. But Ball seems to have one of those Steph Curry or James Harden games where he makes things look ridiculously easy that other guys cannot do. I think he'd unlock all sorts of things on offense for the Knicks.
BRIGGS@ 2/28/2017 12:04 PM
Im not overly worried about the PG position. I want players who can help by expanding the floor and playing both sides of the court. I think we have 3 picks--Im thinking one big two small and 1-2 undrafted to bring to SL.
BRIGGS@ 2/28/2017 12:32 PM
Names at the top that I think we can be good with in order
Ball Tatum Faultz Jackson Smith Monk
I do not think the Knicks will like Monk because hes to short and Id have strong feelings that they want ONE of Ball Tatum Jackson and Faultz. Smith is a bit of a wild player and I dont think they will love him either. In many ways if we want what the Knicks want--wed have to be top 5 most likely.
Im pretty sure they dont want Issac They may like Fox a little but at the end of the day hes got a big fat red flag called shooting. I would not believe if they went foreign guard here a player who has not shown he can shoot and has little data behind him--huge risk. They will not pick a big man so thats out.
They want one of those 4 players.

At this point I love Fultz, Jackson, Smith and really like Ball. Having a top 4 pick in this draft would be amazing. And I really like Monk and Fox, too. I haven't seen Tatum play much yet. But if we get a top 4 or 5 pick, we should have a very nice draft.
TPercy@ 3/1/2017 5:50 PM
A loss tonight is pivotal, as well as a Dallas and New Orleans win.
Tatum and Bacon looked great yesterday.
Chandler@ 3/1/2017 7:15 PM
Question for draft nerds: is there a Scottie pippin type in this draft?

Josh Jackson would be the closest with a slightly better handle
